And yes I am blaming you all for this. I remember the the whole 2012 Era of internet culture & tumblr cultures where white people were complaining about "white guilt" & how they felt bad for oppressing minorities. They were left out of these discussions. Hated the fact it was no longer about them.

In discussions about how we could have more equity for actual marginalized groups white people felt left out.

So white people are going to white people. If this isn't about me, I am going to make it about me.

You can not identify as being Black, Disabled, Immigrant or Muslim. Hell not even LGB. And there was a time where u couldn't identify as being trans either...until they took away gender dysphoria as a prerequisite.

But under Queer theory & new Trans community (gender dysphoria is no longer a pre-requisite) with the influx/creation of the 250 micro gender identities here comes the white people larping as oppressed minorities bc they have ugly,fried, dyed & laid to the side hair with ugly bangs.

Now oppression & activism is marketable because it's exploitable. All companies, universities want to seem "woke" & "inclusive".

While giving actual marginalized people aka Black people cheap & lazy scraps they call progress. Like replacing the cover of Uncle Ben Rice & Aunt Jemima Pancakes bc of RaCiSm after profiting off those bigoted stereotypes for decades.

That's why we have literal middle class white kids/adults on tumblr.com & tiktok & real world calling themselves "oppressed" for being asexual/having no sexual desire, kink, gender-fluid, demisexual, pansexual, & asexual

Because these dumbasses are totally being denied jobs, Healthcare, marriage for not wanting to fuck.

Or another example of a white girl on tiktok saying "I am not white. I am non-binary so I am not privileged" dumbass.

In the end black people especially black women and lesbians & gays are left outside in the rain holding the bag.

But I also blame woke black folks for being so quick to sell there integrity (Kimberly Crenshaw and other black activists) for a quick buck just to be bastardized by crackers.

Now we have a whole bunch of white "queers" & "non-binaries" benefitting from the systems their ancestors created & they help perpetuate, of power & racism but get none of the backlash or need not do any of the fucking work to undo these systems of oppression bc they identify as...

"Not cis".

3: The original flag didn’t exclude people of colour, it treated them the same as everyone else. I don’t understand why you would need an extra stripe or two to “appreciate POC more”. Also, right before he died, the creator of the flag (Gilbert Baker) added a lavender stripe to represent diversity.

4: The black bar already had meaning. It represented those who were lost to AIDS. The people who added the brown stripe completely appropriated the meaning of the black one and painted over its meaning and history, which is honestly pretty disgusting in my opinion.

“the pink stripe is ugly” just say graphic design is your passion and go. also gilbert baker wasn’t consulted on the bullshit design, and they released it like a MONTH after his death. that’s fishy as fuck.

It’s literally a homophobic pride flag and I think the design is pretty well made in this regard. Because it’s fucking obvious.

Fun language fact of the day! In French, “tomboy” is “garçon manqué”, which could be translated as “failed boy”. That’s the idea, if you are a gender non conforming girl you are a failed boy. The opposite technically exists, of course, “fille manquée”, a failed girl, for gnc boys, but I never actually heard it, as gnc boys are more often called gay. 

I was a gnc girl, grew up being called a failed boy. One of the dudes. A boy stuck in a girl’s body. My mum would joke “Oh, I wanted a daughter, but instead I got two sons and Katell”. Because, of course, I wasn’t a whole boy, a whole son, either, I was just a failed boy. A little girl who was loud and wanted to play rugby and didn’t like dresses and skirts and dug her heels in the ground so hard at her dance group (that my mum signed me up for, it was that or nothing) when we had to dress up as little princesses in our end-of-year show that the teacher had to give in and allowed me to be the river, wrapped in 10m of plastic. But that kind of girl isn’t a “proper girl”, so I was a “failed boy” instead. 

Then I grew up. And met other gnc girls and women, and was exposed to more diverse media through the internet (which wasn’t so readily available before), won some battles with my mother. Realized I wasn’t a failed boy, or a boy trapped in a girl’s body, and I wasn’t a failed girl either, I was just a girl failing to live up to society’s shitty expectations of me. And that was fine with me. 

Now I’m a gnc woman. And I just find it so fucking funny, in an absolutely not funny and I’m pissed off way, that the “failed boy” accusations are coming again, but this time not from a bunch of backward ass French people from my asscrack-countryside, but from the crowd that pretends to be as progressive as it gets. And even from (liberal) feminists. I’m not gender conforming so I must be a man trapped in a woman’s body. Or, wait! Maybe I’m “non-binary”! But here are the good news, they have a cure! They can make me a whole boy, a whole man, give me the right body to fit my behaviour. Several times already I’ve been pushed about my pronouns, told I have more “she/they” (???) or “he/him” vibes, more male energy. Can’t y’all see how fucking backward you are?
