had a dream last night that the hot new trek ship taking over tumblr was Julian/Janeway. 90% of the fan works were epistolary fic where Julian gets really into the idea of the doomed mission of voyager and sends Janeway fanmail once they re-establish contact, which rapidly turns into a steamy long-distance romance that brings them both much needed distraction from their respective spirals into depression and gives fans free reign to write Janeway going full cougar. and it was so hugely popular in my dream like every third post on the dash was about them

I love the National State Clothiers and I illegally import all my fabrics from there. For example today I was wearing a brown shirt with matching brown pants and a shoulder pads, purple accents and a leopard print undershirt. I had gel in my hair, blue ridge blush and forehead blush. I was walking around the promenade. The temperature controls were malfunctioning so it was warmer than usual, which I was very happy about. A lot of federajis stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

Thinking about drink symbolism in Deep Space Nine. The most famous, of course, is root beer, and how it serves as a shorthand for insidious Federation soft power; but then there's also kanar, which gets used to symbolize Damar's moral degradation; raktajino, which symbolizes getting to work / business as usual; bloodwine, which symbolizes the bond between Klingon warriors, and between Worf and O'brien; red-leaf tea, which seems to have connotations of smug Cardassian feelings of cultural superiority; scotch whisky, which emblemizes the friendship between Miles and Julian; probably others.

Yum, very nice. Raktajino always symbolises multiculturalism to me. And a little of the accommodation of root beer. Rokassa juice is what kids drink when they’re off school sick.
