I told you once, what if love wasn’t enough?

Don’t get too close, it’s dark inside it’s where my demons hide.

When I stopped Treading water Instead of sinking, I remembered I can swim.

Don’t be a victim of your own mind.

When you love someone more than they deserve, surely they will hurt you more than you deserve.

We've all got something that we trapped inside, that we try to suffocate, you know, hoping it dies. Try to hold it underwater but it always survives, then it comes up out of nowhere like an evil surprise, then it hovers over you to tell you millions of lies.

Only love could hurt like this.

Forgiving people is easy but trusting them again is hard.

Overthinking is what kills me every night.

Now the day bleeds, Into nightfall And you're not here To get me through it all I let my guard down And then you pulled the rug I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved.

How do I trust again?

I changed who I was to put you both first But now I give up.

I used to think of you as somebody that would never, ever hurt me.
