The labor is already being done under capitalism. The laborers are already being underpaid under capitalism.

When you propose removing the greedy profiteers and paying the workers a reasonable wage, people call that "slavery" while they have no problem with the current system.

Why might someone from a group of people that historically have been denied access to wealth, now brag that they have it?

every august-october when all the new college students move in I inevitably end up yelling at many of them on the t because none of them have a goddamn clue where they're going

me and my roommate trying to move a table from the street into our second floor apartment with no elevator and our downstairs neighbor came out to scold us for being complete fucking idiots and called her sons to carry it upstairs for us. her sons spent the entire time lecturing us on how to move a table so that they wouldn't have to come all the way over again. we tried to offer them some money and they cussed us out so we offered them beer which they did take, but not without insulting our taste in beer

a gaggle of people were waiting at a crosswalk on an empty fucking road with literally no cars in sight and I asked them if they were just enjoying the view or planned on fucking going anywhere

when I was sixteen learning to drive in boston (terrible place to learn) I was parallel parking in a busy street with a line of people honking at me until the guy in the first car leaned out his window and yelled at everyone behind him "SHUDDUP IT'S A FUCKIN KID" then turned around and yelled at me that I was doing a terrible job and needed to be at a fuckin fouhty five degree angle and that whoever taught me to drive was a fuckin idiot. he then directed my parallel park with a lot of very aggressive hand gestures

the old man in the next apartment ran into my roommate while they were both out on their balconies and gave her a twenty minute lecture about why her balcony plants looked like shit and how she was horrible at taking care of them and what she needed to do to fix it

a guy bumped into me at a bar and spilled his beer all over my shirt meet-cute style, then offered to let me punch him in the face to make it up to me. i declined and he bought me a tequila shot and a new tee shirt from a tourist trap store a block away instead
