OK OK SYNTAKIS FUN FACT SHEET:

-because she abused the use of mana potions in her younger days, she’s permanently damaged her body’s ability to recover mana on its own. she has to brew her own mana potions that are strong enough to replenish her magic despite her tolerance

-people think she’s an alcoholic because she’s always carrying around a strange flask of liquid she wont let anybody else to drink (that being of course her fucked mana potion sludge)

-she gets terrible, TERRIBLE motion sickness. she REFUSES to ride in carts or ships

-one of her eyes is a prosthetic, something plucked out her eye when she was a child

-she smells like a mixture of strong coffee, bitter herbs, and parchment paper

-she thinks it’s stupidly dangerous to just. LIE DOWN AND SLEEP uninterrupted for 6-8 hours every night. so instead she takes 20 minute power-naps every 3-4 hours somewhere she thinks is secure. sometimes Fell opens a closet and a Syntakis falls out

-she was the PICKIEST of picky-eaters as a kid. autism-texture sensitivity to the MAX. the only thing they could get her to eat was macaroni and cheese and toast. she’s better as an adult, but… not by much

the last one was from when I was playing with like. “evil eye” designs but it might be too much. I think I’m gonna do something different

when I was a kid I used to make up a lot of stories with Link. Mostly ocarina of time child link, since he would’ve been about the age I was at the time (from 6-10 years old)??

I’d boot up OOT on the n64 my older sister stole from her ex boyfriend and just like, wander around for hours. I was too scared to fight the monsters, so I’d just hang around the villages and make up my own stories. Link would always be homeless and on the run, and trying to escape the government or something, always something dramatic like that. sometimes I pretended other characters were there, like the cast from scooby doo, or fuckin uhh. idk. ash ketchum and may and brock n shit

it was really formative for me. I think all that time that really cemented my love for fantasy and adventure, and I’m really happy they designed link as a character that anybody could project themselves onto. If they had made link this BUFF, TOUGH, PILLAR OF MASCULINITY, I wouldn’t have been able to immerse myself in the world and the stories he was centered around as much as I did

anyways. link was more or less an EXTENSION of myself, not quite someone I would describe as a “friend”. BUT, something I’d do routinely would be check up on the master craftsman’s son (I don’t think he ever got an official name), the weird scary bald guy who sits outside kakariko village at night and hates everyone

idk what it was. he always said the same thing, but I still felt the need to talk to him and hang out with him. he just seemed so sad and grim. maybe on some level, I thought that if he had at least one friend, he wouldn’t hate the world so much

comic I made awhile back when I was neck deep in the horse girl gambling game. I would be like one of those characters thats mood goes down randomly except its not random its every single day . and my mood down triggers whenever my mood goes down. and it goes on like that forever
