Bondforged mctimer

This is the bit that I'm the most worried to right about since I'm bad at writing about this sort of thing in a sensitive manner that won't offend but it's interesting to see a pokemon that is to some degree disabled and suffering from chronic pain/illness in a manner that can't be easily fixed. Nebby is willing to act as a salve to a certain degree, but it can only get its full power back briefly in combat and only in Alola (so far) since the place is saturated in their former power (Gamefreak please let my beautiful black prism reach its true splendour elsewhere too). I'm pleasantly surprised the TPC didn't magically completely fix/cure it’s disability in the post game.

It’s current existence as a light stealing parasite being so antithetical to its former status is such a cool concept to have.

It also has some of the coolest epithets I can think of. The Blinding One, The Pillager of Light, UB BLACK and whilst not an epithet used by it and instead a name of an attack LIGHT THAT BURNS THE SKY

Anyway, we all like shapeshifters that can wildly alter how they present themselves right? We've all dreamed of being able to do that ourselves right? There's nothing for me to analyse there, right? Let's move onto aesthetics

BASE FORM

There's something to it isn't there? a certain je ne sais quoi that I can't properly express. It’s alluring, mysterious, and will absolutely tear you to shreds. I love the colourful flecks on its prism brain that pareidolia themselves into a sort of face and that it’s so obviously cobbled together with the pieces of its former body

DUSK FORM

Whoever came up with the idea for Necrozma parasitising the light duo Venom style and becoming armour for them deserves a raise. I know it's impossible but whenever I see the dawn and dusk designs, I try to reassemble the crystals into the base or Ultra forms. Those back arm are really cool and get lots of attention drawn to them in the pokedex. They remind me of “sub-arms” that some mechs/mobile suits possess where a melee unit takes can catch an opponent off guard with concealed limbs

DAWN FORM

This is the form I think of when I think of "my" Necrozma since this form was the one used throughout Ultra Moon's endgame. I think they're very pretty since they're combining Necrozma's previously mentioned je ne sais quoi with Lunala's already existing beauty. The pokedex draws a lot of attention to these two forms violence which makes sense to me since these forms give Necrozma power it hasn’t had for ages

ULTRA FORM

The main event, the grand finale. It is in my opinion one of the most divinely presenting pokemon to exist outside of say Arceus and their children. It's like Pokemon's answer to Lucifer with both holy and monstrous elements and the fact It fell, though this time through no fault of Its own (unless I’m unaware of It canonically challenging Arceus or something). It's holy and terrible at the same time, It’s draconic and angelic. I’d call it a divine beast if Zelda didn’t already take that term. It’s a living star essentially. I love it’s unusual, almost humanoid stance and arrangement of limbs whilst still technically being a hexapod dragon. Its “fire breath” is essentially nuclear fusion, its signature z-move is a supernova spirit bomb, and it provided light to an ENTIRE UNIVERSE

I’m pretty sure its various forms all reference different phenomena as well with its base form being a black hole and dead stars, its fused forms reference solar and lunar eclipses and its ultra form references living stars and supernovae.
