HEck, evenĀ after the UVa story broke down, some people still blamed the Rolling Stones reporter for listening to a liar instead of the actual liar.

Youāre referring to the Brock Turner case. That was one judge, and, safe to say, incredibly controversial. People were protesting outside of his house with guns.
There was a case in the UK where a woman raped a boy for years, and got a slap on the wrist because she came forward. In another case, a pair of twins got off because they were deaf.

You seem determined to put responsibility for reporting on literally everyone else, to portray women who were raped - and I just want to point out how the discussion was not gendered up until your post* - as helpless little things that have no choice at all.
