Significantly more than average lifespan of a male in the U.S. He more or less makes $86 billion dollars every year. 6.6 billion is 13 % of his yearly income.

eating sugar is not a primary cause of diabetes. eating junk food is not a primary cause of diabetes. when you make jokes about "getting diabetes" over sugary, junk filled food, you are enforcing stereotypes that end with diabetics developing deadly eating disorders or experiencing medical abuse and neglect. As someone who has diabetic family members...for the love of everything, don't fall for the "evil sugar" propaganda. It's doing nothing but instilling eating disorders and unhealthy eating habits not just for kids but for adults as well. You're not helping. You're not being supportive. You're not "spreading awareness about the dangers of sugar." You're being an asshole and making others feel guilty for their condition.

the biggest problem with it is the fact that theres no sense of momentum at all, the bike looks like its going at about walking speed and theres no sparks or dust or anything, and the gratuitous slow mo just kills any momentum even further

Y’all “critical thinking” does not equal “criticism”.

I am very tired of saying positive things about characters and getting told I need to do some critical thinking (so that I’ll see the characters are actually bad). No. That’s not how that works. I already did some critical thinking and came to the conclusions that these characters are wonderful. Criticism or straight up character bashing is not more enlightened and is not how critical thinking works. “Critical thinking” is not “thinking about all the bad or problematic aspects of something.” It’s looking objectively at evidence, looking at context, recognizing and examining personal biases and assumptions, considering what assumptions and biases are being used in a given argument by other people, etc. Sometimes this process brings up criticisms, yes, but sometimes it also leads to the conclusion that something is actually good despite it being made out to be bad.
