So what Keith wants to see the most right now is Shiro

And he wants Shiro to tell him that Keith knows who he is and where he belongs, he's the Paladin of Voltron, and Voltron is his family.

So Keith... really simply wants to belong. He wants to have family of his own. His own people who want him as family and accept him. He wants to hear it and he wants it to be true.

It means... he doesn't feel like he belongs, he doesn't feel like Voltron is his family.

But it's not because he doesn't want to, quite the opposite.

Like Kolivan said, it reflexes his greatest hopes and fears.

And he DESPERATELY wants to see Shiro. He wants to see him and he wants Shiro to tell him who he is, where he belongs, and that ha has his family.

But then when all the mind games start Shiro says

and then Shiro leaves him

So Keith is afraid to be seen as selfish and to be abandoned.

He wants to be part of family and he's afraid to be abandoned and left behind.

And it's all here almost explicitly stated.

because at that point keith has come to think of the others as something like family and that he has a place he belongs in as a paladin.

thats why he is willing to give up the knife at the end.

hes ready to give up whatever chance he has at finding belonging via his blood family because by now he tentatively came to trust that its not the only way to belong, that the others really are something like family to him and he has a place with them.

and in response to the vulnerability and trust he shows in this moment, he gets smacked in the face with the news that he is half galra.

Maybe its the thing she dreams of sometimes on the very hard days to have something to keep her going.

i think that either way, she must have reminded herself that even if she souldn't be happy with them, at least the man she loves and her child got to be safe and happy togeter, far away from war and pain.

and then she sees that memory and it hits her like a battle ram.

As we all know, thanks to the support of the good people of Tumblr, Tylenol has experienced a meteoric rise to second place. Even though her competition is stiff, I believe in Tylenol's ability to go the distance.

But let's take a look at the competition:

Elmer seems to be a lovely boy. I have no qualms with Elmer, and think he would look fantastic on a beer can. But what about Elmer's campaigns? Who is the power behind the throne here, and how have they managed to find such breakout success on this competition?

A handful of wealthy donors are trying to buy this competition.

At the end of the day, all donations are good donations here. This is a charity event so every penny earned is going to help animals in need. But it's not lost on me that Elmer's current ranking is thanks entirely to a few individuals with the financial means to put their thumbs on the scale.

Tylenol's donors, comparatively, are small and numerous, mostly $1-10 donations from many passionate believers in what she stands for (autism and pain relief I think).

Overall, the donations tell a very different story than what the base ranking shows you. Elmer is held aloft by just 24 donors and bolstered by a few wealthy patrons, whereas Tylenol has won the hearts of literally hundreds of people. Even the current third place, Abby, owes her ranking to numerous small contributions rather than one or two large ones.
