i'm so curious how saiki k would react to someone with like... un-palatable ocd

someone with a mind plagued with the worst intrusive thoughts they wish they never had to hear

like would he try to help them? would he stay away from them? anyone have an answer for this? i'd like to hear someone's thoughts

#he'd stay away from them because he does his best to stay away from everybody. which means he wouldn't help them unless they're really #close to him. saiki is shown to dislike people who are two-faced or violent or perverted but i think he's wise enough to be able to #tell the difference between a person who is genuinely that and a person who's suffering with what can be a very debilitating illness #which is something he is shown to be sympathetic toward iirc #saiki Might stay away from someone who has ocd because they have ocd because they remind him of himself and he doesn't want #to think about what that means tho :3 (i HC that he has it)#but saiki's had telepathy all his life. he's no stranger to other people's mental illnesses and/or neurodivergencies and how that presents #so i do like to think he'd know what's up and decide he doesn't care so long as they don't make a nuisance of themselves #likewise he's shown an ability to come to greatly care for people who are two-faced (teruhashi and kaidou) or violent (kuboyasu) or #perverted (aiura and toritsuka) or are generally nuisances (everybody). always despite his best efforts to nonchalant but it still happens.#so i think what it boils down to is that saiki dislikes people who refuse to at least Try to do better. and idk about other people but i #don't think i've ever met a person with OCD who isn't trying So Much because at its roots that's basically what OCD is ime #it's Tries Too Hard Disorder.#(and saiki sure does try sooooo hard to hold himself apart so he doesn't contaminate people or they contaminate him #and he sure does have a lot of intrusive thoughts about people hurting him even tho he's invulnerable #and he sure does have ritualized patterns of behaviour about his coffee jelly that he has to look at every lunch break and walk home from #school according to akechi. etc. telepathy as a metaphor for intrusive thoughts my beloved)
