What's beautiful about the Leeds example is the six north-south roads at top right, including the two that bracket all of the "harolds" are all named Thornville...from east to west it's Thornville Street, Ave, Terrace, Grove, Mount and Road. And down lower-left, you'd think Harold Place would continue to the west across Thornville Road, but no, that segment below Harold Grove is "Back Harold Grove", which I suspect means that bit is more of an alley than anything else. Also, the next four streets running east-west north of Harold Ave and east of Thornville Street are also Thornvilles: View, Place, Row, and Back Thornville Row.

My ex-wife and I had a girl border collie who was terrified of the "pergo" floors in this house and so we put down mats and rugs everywhere. There were a couple of places, like on the "backside" of the kitchen island, where there were none, and sometimes she'd be curious enough to venture cautiously back there. She sometimes got 90% of the way around, to where she was only a couple steps from the safety of the next rug, and her brain would melt and it would take her ten minutes of agonizing backing up to her starting point to get back out. Poor thing. "Grippy" hard surfaces didn't bother her, but laminate flooring sure did. I'm not sure she ever slipped on it.

My favouritest sport fact ever is that in 1990s 2 cardiac surgeons watched an f1 race to save the lives of countless kids.
