This is not metaphorical. I mean actual, literal pieces of paper/plastic/metal/whatever explicitly erected to inform the public.

“How did you know this was the right trail?” I read the sign.

“Wow, how did you know what that flower is?” There’s a SIGN.

“How did you know we needed to use the side door?” THERE IS A SIGN POSTED ON THE FRONT DOOR.

Just…why are we having such different experiences of the world? People can read. I KNOW they can read. There’s nothing wrong with their vision.

Just. READ. THE. GOD. DAMN. SIGN.

You are loved and there will always be people willing to fight this nonsense.

Use whichever facilities you feel safest and most comfortable using. Surround yourself with supportive people as much as you can.

And most importantly-

Keep being you. Do not admit defeat. Time will show the country just how stupid, unworkable, unfair and pointless this whole ordeal has been.

The EHRC is not fit for purpose, and neither is the government.

One last thing.

Never EVER let Labour forget what they’ve done here. This mess is theirs. The Tories started it, sure… the Supreme Court made everything worse… but Labour had multiple avenues of cleaning up this mess up.

They chose to proceed with segregation.
