"violence is never justified under any circumstances" types when you tell them that they have already implicitly accepted that violence is sometimes justified by expressing ambivalence if not outright allegiance to capitalist politicians and systems of governance. you have already accepted that violence, under certain circumstances, is at least tolerable if not entirely reasonable and necessary, and you assert that all the time. you have already decided what sort of violence is okay to you

the entire economy should be lumber and wooden tool based. You cut down a tree. Make something out of wood that can cut down trees. Provide the wood thing to the guys who cut down trees. Endless cycle. 100% employment.

You may ask yourself: why not throw some iron in the mix. make a stronger tool. Make the loop iron and wood into tools to make more iron and wood. But that means less people cutting down all the trees which can be used for other stuff too. Like making paper. Which universities can use to teach people to read books on how to cut down trees. Please don’t waste my time with iron.

Ive just been informed that the iron and coal people have made something called steel that is so good at cutting down trees that frankly it makes wood look downright stupid and they’re coming to kill us all

You can love it or hate it, have all sorts of opinions on it- but by far my least favourite rhetoric around Chaz/Chop is that it accomplished nothing. It made national headlines and still gets brought up in discourse 5 years later. That by itself is something.
