I've never seen ballet outfits up close, and went into this one expecting basic pink. Happy to be wrong. I'm kinda in love with the crazy variety of heavy, glittering , gravity defying embroidery against delicate tissue fabrics. Even without the motion, this aesthetic is stunning👀

The 20s style is a wild contradiction- round makeup vs sharp art deco fashion, a flat androgynous silhouette paired with tons of feminine accessories, and intense, Femme-Fatale expressions on the faces of women in outfits made for fun parties with wild carefree dancing. Crazy to think it's been 100 years and compare it to NOW 🤯
