Your Local Masterlings Care Guide!

Welcome to the Masterlings Care Guide! Did you get your own special little robo pal for Christmas? Do you already have one and want to learn more? Or perhaps you are wanting to have your own tiny metal friend and want to know your stuff beforehand!

Robot Master Characterlings, or more commonly known as Masterlings, are wonderful little companions for anyone who wants a little buddy!

In this blog, I will be sharing info on these adorable critters and answering any questions that come my way! Ask me anything, I’ll be sure to help as best I can!

Ooc edit: friendly note that there is one (1) mod to this blog and that mod is a minor. I don’t want anything uncomfortable or NSFW and I don’t *want* to block anyone over it, but if I have to I will.

Ooc edit 2: I am absolutely willing to include Masterlings based on other AU’s as long as I am given the original owner’s name, where I can find it, and potential warnings.

Admittedly I didn’t vet him cause I was desperate to get these two to stop killing each other. I’m sure its fine tho :)

Anyway, the smaller one has like, big white eyes and like, a mechanic’s belt and other stuff.

Now that I think about it, the Daini was scared of the guy I gave the Aki to, and I’ve never seen him scared. I uh, I think I may have made a mistake

That Masterling sounds like a Mega Mini, which should never be separated from its Aki! Be sure to reunite them quickly! As for the man, you certainly did. Dainis are not easily scared of people, so if he’s afraid of someone, that’s a major red flag!

Some guy with a robot arm and a southern accent. Anyway, I also discovered a much smaller masterling. It must have come with the Aki but since Aki is gone its just depressed and I don’t know what to do

Did you vet him before he took the Aki? Also, I’m going to need more details about the smaller Masterling, such as its appearance, before I can give advice. That said, a reunion would be beneficial regardless.

While it is not the most common thing, Masterlings may present as the opposite gender. Certain breeds such as Centaur Men present this more often.

While there are a few other Masterlings that it could be (such as a Bright Man or Centaur Man), you may want to consider gaining its trust with food offerings. This is abnormal behavior that may indicate stress from unknown factors.

I recently found another one. Apparently this one is called an Aki? Anyway, mine keeps trying to hurt the new one! Like, this isn’t play fighting, this seems more like he’s trying to kill him. What do I do?! Do I separate them? Do I find someone else for the Aki? What do I do?!

I believe that one of them must be a Daini for them to be clashing so strongly. Either of those courses of action would work, but if you decide to keep them both, make sure to start socializing them slowly and carefully.

But, he grew accustomed and is having fun running from one end of the house to the other. He's got lots of toys and enjoys looking out the window at the birds.

This lil guy's been a trooper the whole time. From being abandoned to being rescued, and then moving house! But Wally's still a sweetheart. Here he is napping on my bed

For your own sake, either keep him confined to a meticulously cleaned and organized area or keep your entire house clean from top to bottom. Fully Charged Cut Men are known for their severe and unrelenting perfectionism, so if even one thing is out of place they may freak out.

should i keep him or give him to a shelter

The blatant theft is a bit concerning. That said, whether you keep him or not is completely up to you and should be decided based on your personal situation and comfort with it. The least I would do is get him checked out by a doctor.

But recently their behavior has changed. Bass now snuggles up to Rock for naps and they bring each other food and toys.

Is this behavior normal towards a Rock for a Bass??? Should I be concerned???

While they do tend to naturally clash, Rocks and Basses are quite similar to cats and dogs in that they can grow to accept and enjoy each other’s company with time and care. A Rock’s natural friendliness is quite helpful in this regard, though it should be noted that it tends to be more difficult if said Rock has gone Mega.

I'll admit that the nagging feeling that it was a sign of stress drove me nuts more than the ringing itself, but your reassurance helped me stay sane, and now that I'm a little more settled and getting into a new routine he's even accepting treats again, because I can give at a set time again. Wonder a bit if the shelter staff heard me saying I wanted a masterling good with routine and gave me the rigidest one they could find but tbh don't really care because little Sandy still purrs when we cuddle, still feels safe to leave when it's too much and still likes my hourglass. So guess I'm forgiven, haha.
