My favorite type of Batfam's moments: when their interactions are very typical family, but it's happening in a vigilante way. Like here, Bruce is teaching Cass how to drive, while her little brother is making comments about how they are all going to die, so they have some banter between siblings. But instead of being in a car on an everyday road, they are in the batplane going through a snowstorm.

Really liked the three of them together in this issue. They really give the vibe thay they are good friends, and they are all competent heroes and smart in their own way, and they are also dumb together.

Jason propping himself up on his forearms against on Bruce's back to study something Bruce is showing him on the BatComputer.

Dick was used to climbing all over Bruce, standing on his shoulders, swinging off his arms etc and even though he's grown, he's still bouncing off of Bruce constantly. He will throw himself at Bruce to be caught anytime he can.

Duke will set up camp with his back against Bruce whether he's sat, laying down or standing, Duke just leans against him like he's a wall.

Steph loves to mess up Bruce's hair when he's sat. She will ranting about something or talking to him while he's working, combing his hair to stand up while he's frowning at paperwork or his iPad.

Cass likes to hold Bruce's hand. It doesn't matter what he's doing or where they are, Cass just holds onto Bruce's hand, even if he's having a conversation. Anytime somebody asks whether she's alright, Bruce just nods and says she just likes to hold his hand and she's fine.

Tim constantly collapses next to Bruce, head on his lap, legs over his legs, shoulder to his, tucked up into a tight ball just under Bruce's ribs.

This! This is why I’m always baffled when people portray Luffy as a selfless, bleeding-heart hero who goes out of his way to help every single person he sees.

Luffy doesn’t know exactly what Vegapunk wants to do, but he knows it’s Good. He knows that Vegapunk wants to help a great many people, possibly the whole world, but Luffy is simply not interested. It’s great that Vegapunk wants to make people happy, but that’s got nothing to do with Luffy personally, and if it is not personal, he doesn’t care. Doesn’t matter that it’s the right, good thing to do – Luffy doesn’t know all those people that Vegapunk wants to help, so it’s not his problem.

Often, Luffy simply doesn’t care about all the bad things in the world, unless he gets personally invested. To be fair, he gets invested into people pretty easily so he helps them out, but it’s always about his people. Never about what is the right or moral thing to do.

Even here, after learning that Vegapunk wants to save the whole world, Luffy doesn’t help him because he wants to contribute to that.

Luffy has a handful of motives to do stuff.

“You look funny i like you.

You gave me food.

You helped a friend of mine.

You helped me.” Or some derivative. In the case you are given one of this titles, you are now his friend. You are his. And he will impose his wants over you. Not that he’ll force you to do anything, you have the free will to stop him… but can you?

His actions can all be boiled down to “i want to do it, i will do it”.

Even when he does something considered heroic, it’s not of the goodness of his heart, normally people didn’t even asked for help. maybe helping just coincided with something fun he wanted to do in the first place or he’d taken a liking for you so you WILL be helped, you like it or not. He’s selfish. He’s free.
