For reminder, Alfred has once be portrayed paying actors to play the Waynes' murder and to beat up Batman once he was destabilized by his ptsd from the re-enactment. He also tends to leave Bruce when Bruce is suffering the most. He also has drugged Bruce without his consent, sometimes through his food, and he threatens Bruce to do it again, leading to Bruce being wary of eating Alfred's food (and he already doesn't eat a lot).

The whole run has the tone of everyone being rude to each other. Everyone gets into fights. However, other members manage to keep it verbal. Notice, how Bruce isn't trying to start a physical confrontation, and instead telling Guy to cut it, and Guy is the one that escalates to physical.

Guy was fully ready to strike and had his fist charged.

But Bruce's reflexes are faster, so he strikes first. He is simply responding in kind. Also notice how literally everyone else is on Bruce side - because Guy was a nightmare to the entire rest of the team for all the previous issues. This is Not the first time he escalated to physical attacks - the literal first issue of the run starts with this:

And it continues on in the next issues too, with Guy being sexist, xenophobic towards J'onn, and just generally mean towards others, even the ones who never did anything to him - like Captain Marvel. And, yet again, Bruce is the one to step in and cull Guy's bullying.

He sullied his relationships with the entire team, and the punch above? Is written to be a cathartic moment for the readers - the moment where a bully character is finally put in his place. That's why literally everyone is on Bruce's side, including Clark and Diana.

It is also not Bruce's punch that leads to Guy's change in personality - it's him hitting his head on the table right after. He wakes up after the punch exactly as he was.

As I said above, Bruce has no such issue with the rest of the team. They are all harsh to each other, yes - but they manage to contain to verbal jabs, and Bruce has no problem apologizing to them. So yes. Guy is the bully here, not Bruce. Even Hal isn't a fan of him at the time. So stop woobyfying him, my god, yall are worse than Tim stans

I never seen the specific title of "Protector of Park Row" being used in relation to Bruce (but then again, I didn't read all the comics), but what I can confidently say is that Bruce patrols the Crime Alley and nearby areas regularly. Leslie's clinic is also supposed to be in there, and he often shows up there as well.
