Remember a year ago when we all thought this would be a temporary thing and we said “soon we will be able to_____” but that was a lie because people will always be selfish and self centred and for some reason, vote against their own self interests.

I’ve lost an aunt and 2 grandparents this year and I can’t even hug my dad to comfort him at the loss of ANOTHER family member. I can’t be in the same room with him because people need to eat at a restaurant or attend a sporting event?

I’m just so resentful and angry at humanity right now and every time I have a quiet moment I feel it seep in to remind me of everything me and mine have sacrificed again and again so somebody else can selfishly flaunt the rules. We can’t hold this on our own. We were never “all in this together”
