You guys have no idea how happy I am that I started listening to Magnus Archives and now they are making another piece of media in this universe

just some todays sketch of my fav szlachcic and cossack

My OC’s that I’m making comics about. Lashonek and Olek.  Aesthetic is inspired by polish nobelman’s culture in 18 century and their conflict with cossacks. Also, by works that describe it, like “With Fire and Sword”

It also might be reference to life of Troyan prince, Astynax, wich is klled by Odysseus in "The horse and the Infant". This version goes accordingly to Sack of Troy. It's known that Achaeans made quite a extended journey to take Troy, and did not expected seige to take so long. They feared leaving Astynax alive, it was a threat because it would leave a potential avenger(in musical it is Zeus who discusses baby's fate with Odysseus and forshadows this fate among the others). Taking Astynax life was finall act of war by king, thus suppouse to end their journey to take Troy(Illiad), and allow him to go back home after the Sack of Throy. He did not expect to start another journey(Odyssey). Epic: The musical does not divide to Illiad and Odyssey, however it also describes only aftermath of first, and part of journey covered in second.

Probably never gonna finish it, and not gonna redraw it soon, so might as well post it. inspired, and made (kinda??) as cover project to one of my fav fics about Lawlight: Hormones and Other Drugs by wordgenerator (don’t know if they’re on tumblr here tho)
