New artwork for the series of "RWBY characters in Slavic folk costumes". And hey, it's my country now! This time there were two customers, so thanks a lot to @carn-project and Amurlander 🥰

Nora is wearing a costume of the Russian North, represented by a lovely dress from Arkhangelsk Oblast/Region (village of Luda, early 20th century). Similar red and pink outfits, decorated with various types of grid patterns, are found in different territories of the Russian North. With the approval of the customer, I personally chose this one for Nora, as I really wanted to see her in pink, while we had such an opportunity :)

Lie Ren, since he is East Asian coded, represents the Russian Far East. Namely, the Amur Cossack costume. With the customer's permission, it's not a strict depiction of a specific uniform, but rather a generalized image representing the regional culture. For the same reason, I ask you to consider the nagaika (a whip) exclusively as an element of Cossack equipment and equestrian life.

Such 'crescents' earrings are very popular in Ukrainian culture and were an attribute of many Ukrainian Cossacks.
