Fanpires: Veindale is a Minecraft Roleplay SMP run by 137Rats and SageTheSapphic and their in-game admin, ravenori_. It is Inspired by Vampires SMP made by POWcreations and uses the same plugin.

You know Vanya The Fool... But what about her showbiz partner Rumi The Star?

I just have been thinking of a happy ending where Rumi and Vanya leave Veindale and Vanya doesn't take faces anymore and they just start to take showbiz seriously together because it's something that Vanya wanted to pursue and Rumi found it interesting enough AND THEIR DUO WOULD SO BE KILLING IT I AM AT EVERY SINGLE SHOW MAN.

The title of The Star comes from me using tarot cards to find a title for Rumi because I KNOW THAT VANYA IS CONNECTED TO THE FOOL TAROT. I just have a feeling in my rattling bones.

When I was making this I didn't think the flat shading looked good so I did better on the shading. Looking at this now I like both! :D

I also spent a long time thinking about what color combinations they could have. Because I'm neurodivergent and mmm colors

I've been really into putting primaries and secondaries into a main palette such as CYM, RYB, RGB and their secondaries basically. I ended up with YMRG! I really liked this skin of Maxine's/Vanya's

So maybe a more modified and stylised version of this into her current fit. For Rumi I cooked this up even tho I wanted a bajillion more frills and cuffs and flowy parts I really like Rumi's hair XD the Red and Magenta are complementary and really similar so I needed colors that popped and Yellow and Green worked well for that! Yellow is on the warm spectrum and the brightest contrast color and Green is it's complementary, though I might abandon the green for purple because I love the Yellow and Purple color combo alot... It gives a dusk gradient and that's so fun and pretty... Anyways. I'm stealing @melyapperofthecentury 's job again, whoops. My bad man.

Trying to get better at my chibi game once more I think I might FINALLY have a consistent head shape! ...what about the chibi body? um..... we don't talk about brunoooo

But more specifically, The Children Of Chaos.

I get that it's a fan vsmp, but what's the premise? Give me the sales pitch

So while there is the base of being a Roleplay SMP with same plugin and similar premise, what's different and incredibly interesting about Fanpires: Veindale is!

There's a different map and history behind it! Not to mention the pre-established relationships based around them. The history behind the Myerson Manor and the cults in the area Bloodsingers, Children of Chaos and of The Stillness! Let's not forget to mention The Beast Of Veindale based off being a creature made with Vampire Thralldom! Which also exists!! They have actual Vampire Thralls based off cc!Cleo's VSMP explanation of them (I'm guessing).

There's not really the usual character archetypes you would find in SMPs like these. They actually have a lot more depth than you'd expect and really good backstories that affect their current decisions and morals. I'm not going to spoil anything but the twists and turns are incredible (if you do want spoilers, check @melyapperofthecentury ) I will also say that Fanpires: Veindale does an amazing job at showing cults and how members are recruited to faith as well as dealing with the hunger, power and immortality granted by vampirism.

Those are some of the biggest spoilerless reasons I love Fanpires: Veindale and have so much fun making fan content and talking about it. Whether it's the history, lore and secrets in the map or the extra detail of Vampire Thralldom being used and having characters lose and struggle with autonomy or the relationships that tangle, break, form or complicate due to circumstances. Or characters' stories fitting in well to the improvised story being built.

Also absolutely great and amazing editing and voice work from the cast. There's so much that's conveyed well through the voice. Also alot of custom skins to fit situations and injuries!! Also did I mention they have yuri. dude they have Yuri. Dead wife ×2 and emotional repression AND Peak Yuri.

Obviously I made a spoilerless version for MY FELLAS WHO ENJOY SUCH CONTENT. If you've seen my Sampires Frostvein fanart, MadamVania who played sfv!Vania plays vd!Maxine in this SMP! I love vd!Maxine and vd!Rumi so very much they're so precious and nothing will ever happen to them I'm so sure.... :) anyways SPOILER VERSION UNDER THE CUT!

I've used parts of all the characters involved with he ritual, The Flight Sniff, Zam, Sausage, Graecie, Megii, Ros and Legs. It'd take me a while to listen them all... I wish I added more of tf!Legs and tf!Zam in the designn well it's only a temporary design hehe.
