it can be tempting to live your life like a prequel. to live as if you’re setting up your own story.and once you lose the weight, once you have the money, once you graduate school, once you’re in a real relationship, once, once, once. then finally, you’ll begin to live, and everything you do up until that point is some kind of half-life, some unimportant foreword you can skip. don’t do this. inhabit your life completely. sink fully into the wealth of your existence. the power to manifest is in the fearless owning of who you are, so that you can shape where you’re going.

not enough ppl talk about the multilingual issue of staring at a basic object as your brain cycles through wtf it’s supposed to be called in the language you’re using like an rpg protagonist scrolling through their inventory mid boss battle.

Your daily reminder that the web is not a neutral place and to always check your sources bc there are literal conservative think tanks that ghouls donate millions of dollars into specifically so that when you google something like "Che Guevara" the first result will be a website named something like The Truth and Justice for Peace Institute telling you he murdered 2 million people or whatever

I know that it goes without saying, but these shitbags are not to be taken lightly. The Project for the New American Century were one of the direct, and deliberate, causes of the war on Iraq. These institutions have very real power and they use it to kill for even more.

And remember that google as a search engine has moved toward putting all the BS sources that pay them money at the top of every search. I hate to say it but if you want to see less of these, I’d recommend you stop using google to get all your information.

you naturally grow out of a lot of unhealthy habits and I think that something that seeing obsessive self improvement culture in the early twenties crowd makes me sad about like. you will start to drink less as your world changes, you will get better at habits as your world stabilizes. your sense of self will solidify as you make mistakes waste time and figure out what works for you and what does not thru your own bodies rejection of it. you’ll be called to sleep earlier and wake sooner and to move your body bc it won’t bounce back with out stretching it out first like there are reasons older people are more regimented bc they don’t need to experiment as much anymore to find out what’s functional. It’s not 1 size fits all
