“Well of course it looks good on me,” Marissa grinned, sitting down. “But it’s not for me. Well, not really.” 

“Says you,” Kari rolled her eyes. 

“Says me,” she grinned. “But either way, it’s going to be a good last few months of the year.” 

“She better not, these puppies are my favorite,” Josie said as she finished her own shake. “If Jaz even thinks about discontinuing this, I’ll be the first one to shut that idea way down.”

Marissa looked around, tilting her head. “Is it not crazy knowing your sister owns this place? And it’s like the most amazing place in Pinewood?” 

“That’s if I even get on the team again this year. Who knows if they’ll let me back on after I took that year break. I still haven’t told Sutton I’m trying out again.”

“What’s that got to do with anything? You want in, you try out.” 

“Oops. Sorry.”

“It’s fine, but here while you’re here, what do you think of this outfit?”

“Well, I was hoping for a new broom for Christmas, but of course that didn’t happen…”

Marissa looked at her and arched an eyebrow. “Well what did you get instead? Plus, you’re gonna lose anyway.” 

Cameron groaned. “Great. Just great. We just got back and we already have a mountain of homework.”

“Just do what I do, don’t do it and blame the dog.” 

“Do we have astronomy or potions first?”

“Uh,” Marissa looked at her, eyes wide. “Dude, I don’t even know.” 

“Oh thank god I’m not the only one, then.”

“Besides, we’re hot chicks. So what if we’re wearing trousers?” 

“Tell me I don’t look like an idiot for wearing pants to a dressy gala.”

“I did it once,” she nodded. 

“I have the Potions test tomorrow,” Sabrina replied. “Plus, I have OWLs this semester.”

“Oh,” Marissa nodded, furrowing her eyebrows. “Well okay then, so whats the potion test on?”

Dax looked over at her with a slight smile, “Yeah he’s especially boring today. I don’t know what it is.” He twirled his pen in his fingers.

“Well, whatever he’s saying, I’m not taking any of it in. Something about wormholes?” 

“You should join the dance team with that goal dance,” she said with a smile when Marissa was done fooling around.

“Oh, please. They couldn’t handle me,” she smirked, dropping back into a seat. “So, what are we studying so late in the semester?”
