“Says me,” she grinned. “But either way, it’s going to be a good last few months of the year.” 

“That’s for sure,” Kari grinned. 

Holding it tightly to her chest, Lissa glanced down to the old book. “There’s a potion in here, which can help a person heal wounds and broken bones from the minute it’s taken, for six hours. Longer, if they take additional doses.” 

Kari frowned, trying to understand. “You mean take it, so it heals you long enough to get to the hospital wing?”

Everett gave that to charming smile as his eyes settled on Kari. “No need to apologize Bloom. I never mind being run into by you.”

Kari felt her face grow warm and hoped she wasn’t blushing. “I...uh...I should get going...”

“Right….” Clarissa nodded, disappearing into her mind for a moment before she looked back at Kari. “What if there was a way to make sure you didn’t have to worry about coming off the pitch to get healed?” 

“Okay. I’m listening.”

Marissa looked at her and arched an eyebrow. “Well what did you get instead? Plus, you’re gonna lose anyway.” 

“Says you,” Kari rolled her eyes. 

“That’s a bold statement, but you’re not wrong!”

Kari grinned at him as she flew. “Of course I'm not!” She laughed as she flew around the pitch, her hair dancing with the wind. “I would stay up here all day if I could.”

“Yeah, I guess so. And maybe selling them a few years down the road, but yeah, to get all the cards.”

“So what other ones are you missing?”

“Admirable.” He grinned, nodding. “Do the other two extend the same courtesy?”

Kari shrugged. “I guess...I think...”

“Good.” She sighed, relieved. Their brother had already pushed her buttons that morning. “So - Ryder get to you too?”

“No, it’s....something else.”

“Will it still be quodpot season after I wake up?” She groaned, pulling a pillow over her head.

“Oh, come on. It’s not that early. Come on, let’s go out and fly before I get in trouble for being in your dorm.”
