“Well of course it looks good on me,” Marissa grinned, sitting down. “But it’s not for me. Well, not really.” 

“Then who is it for?”

“At least three cookies.” 

“Man, Knight. You are full of good ideas.”

“It’s fine, but here while you’re here, what do you think of this outfit?”

“Not my style, but it looks good on you.”

“I’ve gotten used to it.” Alaska’s parents did it to her all the time.”

Mary Ann frowned. “It’s not something someone should have to get used to.”

“So, is your first bit, like, free and then you charge for the rest?” 

“Good idea. What should I charge?”

Jordan nodded his head as he thought about what Mary Ann was saying, giving up all together on his collar. There was no way he’d be able to make that comfortable. “That’s some pretty solid advice, actually.” 

Mary Ann shrugged. “I’m a great advice giver.”

Alaska chuckled, “No not really. Why? Does it bother you?”

“Wouldn’t bother you?”

“I don’t know how I feel about this. It smells… weird.”

“What do you mean? There’s someone out there for you. Everyone deserves you.”

“I come with way too much baggage.”

“Yes.” Andi nodded, “Flight is a higher level spell but you’ll learn the basics of it before you graduate. It’s definitely something you could look into.”

“Nice. I’m looking forward to that.”

“The second one. I mean, if you get rejected, then move onto the next person. I mean if they don’t want to dance with you, they don’t deserve you.”

“No one deserves me,” Mary Ann laughed.
