whenever discussing the erasure and lack of representation of trans men in media, it's best not to fall into the assumption that just because the image of a trans woman has a more prominent place in the cultural zeitgeist, doesn't mean they have better representation.
That's like saying black people in the 1920's had better representation than asian people because minstrel shows were popular.
hi i am crying. i love you trans women ❤
ID: a reddit post in the subreddit "mtf" by user @.apotatomassacre. "My 84 year old Navajo grandmother gave me one of her bracelets (that my silversmith grandfather made for her in the 50s) after seeing me as myself for the first time. It was one of the pinnacle moments of my transition and definitely made me cry.
i came out to my grandma at the beginning of the year over the phone. She really didn't (and I knew) know what transgender was or anything but this past weekend, we were able to see each other in person for the first time since i started my transition. For being 84 years old, the chat went as great as it could have gone! She caught me as I was leaving and she gave me a silver bracelet with turquoise and coral stones. She told me that this style is what Navajo women wear.
I was speechless as she barely learned what transgender was just minutes earlier. I cried for the entire drive home." End ID

shoutout to fat nonbinary people
everyone say thank you to fat nonbinary people
To the trans girl reading this: it is never to late to transition. It is never too late to question your gender identity. It is never too late for anything. Live your dreams and be your happiest self. Don't leave yourself wondering of what could've been when it could be now. I will wrap my arms around you and embrace you, even if you want to transition in your mid 30s or 40s. Even if you've already had puberty and your body has developed. It will never be too late.
HAPPY PRIDE to Black Aros on this site btw. Whether ur Aroallo aroace non-SAM loveless etc I hope your pride month is a good one
How do you know you're not Asexual? Maybe you just haven't met the right nobody.

it makes me so sad seeing people in my life who tell me they think they might be trans but they’re too scared to confront that reality because the transgender experience just seems to be filled with terror and misery. trans people please never stop talking about the joys of being transgender. please never stop talking about your excitement and joy and happiness. maybe you think that the trans experience is all doom and gloom, too. I promise it’s not. focus on the joy and you will feel better I promise.
They joy is everything!
Like, yeah, there's a lot of pain and horror rifht now. But as bad as ut is, the joy still outweighs it.
Like, I literally hadn't felt joy since I was a child until 10 months into HRT when I finally started seeing myself in the mirror for the first time since puberty. I didn't even know that I had forgotten what joy felt like.
Do y'all have any idea what that's like to feel joy when you not only had forgotten what it feels like, but you had forgotten that you forgot what joy feels like?! And then all of a sudden out of nowhere you look in the mirror one day and there you are for the first time in your adult life, and suddenly your heart is alive again! I didn't know what it felt like to cry happy tears until that day.
You have to transition, you have to! You have to feel the warmth of joy again!
Nothing is off topic when it comes to us, happy pride month, my fellow asexuals 💜
I am so glad that I live in a world with trans women and trans men and nonbinary people and intersex people. Things are hard for all of us right now, but I love you all and I am wishing that things get better and easier for all of us! ❤️
you need to understand that i have two sets of headcanons. there's the set of realistic headcanons based on my genuine reading of the show, and then there's me playing pretend with my dolls.
reblog this to be an annoying faggot at ur followers

awww the like button turns into a rainbow when you press it! that's so cute...hey staff what's with all the trans women you keep nuking?
i think we should be ridiculing them more for this. you don't get to try and go all "queer website" when your staff likes to go on nuking sprees targeting the trans fem users
