Hey what's up, I actually posted the first chapter of a fanfiction to AO3 today. If you're one of the five people max on this website who know me this probably isn't a big surprise, but it is also my first real attempt at this.
It's a very spur-of-the-moment (by which I mean I have no plan) PMD fic featuring an Eevee whose uncle is the local Guildmaster and whose family are all famous explorers and an orphan Espurr who's too psychic for his own good becoming best friends forever and having cool adventures and a lot of mishaps, and I'm going to try and keep it going because the characters seem really fun. (My apologies to the handful of people who probably followed this account recently because I was talking about Deltarune, this is a very multifandom space.)
Check it out if you want, or don't, I'm not your dad. I'm frankly terrified to put this out into the world but I'd love it if it made anyone's day brighter.

What the frick did I just read. I must cast this upon others.
I have a fundamentally different perspective that clashes with the idea of trans and non-binary. I try not to trouble people with that because I also think staking a friendship on that difference is a bad idea.
This being said, there is a certain point where I think we've lost the plot a bit. What I specifically mean is when people point at an aesthetic and call it their gender identity. I feel like you need a different word at that point.
I've got no problem with associating yourself with an aesthetic or a particular style, but I feel like at a certain point, clarity needs to be taken into account for word choice.
I see it less than I did a decade ago, but it still happens. Alright. With my peace said, I'll just slip back to my corner and where I can avoid being cancelled by not offering my opinion. (I hate that I genuinely feel that way.)
