As a trans-lesbian, I see pregnancy in the same way many non-binary people see TV Heads.

If I could *be* a pregnant woman and do surrogacy?? I would in a heartbeat.

However, I know that is extremely unrealistic and impractical.

I still yearn though, and express this through my art.

1. Besides Faeries, which other fantasy races (or “peoples”) in your world-building.

2. Lifespan and age stages of faeries and other fantasy races (or “peoples”) in your worldbuilding.

3. What makes each fantasy race different or similar in your world-building compared to their typical fantasy depictions.

4. In world-building, depending on the medium, what would you say is the reasonable number of fantasy races and whether there is such thing as too much or too little.

1-"none"... kinda- this project was mostly to discuss my thoughts on the faeries themselves- but to be fair theres pleanty of groups that the fairies internally would consdier "diffrent races" (though its much more analogous to the diffrences between "different nationalities" in the real world)

otherwise many of my projects are explorations of singular ideas- which don't too often have a need for more than 1 people group

2-i specifically left the exact ages and times vague, as it was more an idea template that ive since re-used a lot in diffrent contexts with difftent specifics in those areas

(this was more ment to be a template for a type of creature, similarly to how 'birds' are a very specific group, but there is no singular "lifespan" and "age" for the entirety of all 'birds')

3-i only really use differences from their standard fantasy depictions when its theme-relevant

(e.g. the most recent one i made was based on the 4 humors- so it had themes like the elves were very melancholic (sad) bc of their long lifespans but they felt very deeply and that factored into their more intricate magic use-)

i feel it varies from thing to thing

4-i just *go*, i mostly draw things so the medium limitations are mostly "as many as i can remember" but i wouldn't say there's any "perfect number" or anything- though as mentioned earlier if there is variation in the theme id probably try and go for a minimum of 3, as it gives a good way to have variations on the theme without a horrendus amount of work or accidentally making a "good guy race" and "bad guy race".

as far as "more of it" goes, ive seen you liking my posts and its been tempting me to make another swing at some deep world building

im worldbuilding for a d&d campaign and theres so many races and factions and monsters and yada yada yada

me, personally, i have a fondness for simple toys-

im re-drawing the races in a much smaller simplified style (you probably cant directly tell from the art, but the pens are the next 2 smallest sizes)

im specifically drawing them smaller so they take less time to draw-! (also so i can fit more of them on 1 page and more easily do size comparisons-)

working on some fun lore for a D&D game im planning on running!

this is a hill dwarf woman along with the guide on writing/speaking hill dwarf

It took me a hot min to figure out how to pose the caterpillar tail for this one-

i was kinda basing it on the japanese emperor caterpillar- but the colors got boring so i just got a bit creative it

i imagine she's an adult and they only turn into moths/butterflies after a religious ceremony/ritual-

Im a cancer/leo cusp, but im on the cancer side of the cusp, so cat-paw-crab-claw lady it is!!

i used green and red jewelry because most of cancer is in july, and most of leo in in august- july's birthstone is ruby (red), and august's birthstone is peridot (green) :D!

i like how she turned out, and am glad the green and red don't come across as christmas-y

i just decided to do a baseball girlie, bc its simple and fun

Im going to be illustrating these prompts digitally, then printing them out to put as stickers into the 301 Things to Draw prompt book i got!
