why are so many visual fantasy works these days so allergic to ceilings? like, yea, unrealistically big architecture is a feature, but so much recent media reeeeally suffers from "big empty rooms and halls"-syndrome
i want a proper ceiling!!! and not every frame to just end with lines escaping upwards. give me some furniture. or anything resembling an embellishment to justify a room that size. i want statues.
