sometimes artists worry if their art is actually capable of making the world a better place, or if its all just wasted effort. what you need to remember is: all art is evil, and the sole aspiration of the artist should be to maim as many onlookers as possible.

damian is actually really creative, and i think more people should acknowledge that. damian draws, he paints, he plays the violin, he goes to acting classes!!!!!! he loves the arts! he loves to express himself.

It’s always been really important to me that the character who grew up in an environment where violence was the primary way of communication now mainly expresses himself through the arts, and caring for animals, and reading manga, wanting to be a doctor, and all things like that. He is not defined by his past, he’s defined by who he is and what he loves!

Also have been reading so much Daredevil lately so I'm envisioning a Born Again arc for Cass but it's like some villain finds out Batgirl is Cass Cain and tries to destroy her life. So villain tries to find Cass' job to get her fired but oh she's unemployed so dead end there. Then villain drains Bruce's finances but like that has happened 1 bajillion times so neither Bruce nor Cass really care. Then the villain's like 'let me kill some of Batgirl's siblings' and goes after Dick (gets severely beaten up) then Jason (gets severely beaten up) and is like 'uh I'm just gonna skip to the youngest' and goes after Damian (gets severely beaten up). At this point the villain switches to Cass' civilian friends and through an intensive search comes up with: Brenda (deceased), Zero (deceased), Bà Bao (deceased), Liam (deceased), Tony (deceased). Villain's like 'whoa this girl's life is kinda tragic' but still goes after the first living guy on the list, Sal. The villain has a gun pointed to Sal's forehead and is like 'nothing personal it's just that you're Cassandra Cain's friend' and Sal is like 'who' and the villain is like 'this girl' and pulls up a picture and Sal is like 'oh her? we don't really know each other like that' so villain gives up and goes to blow up Wayne Manor only to find it's ALREADY been blown up. And while all of this is going on Steph & Cass are making out on a rooftop somewhere

comics suck right now because no one wants to commit to a long term status quo in ongoings like omg who caresssss about the newest world ending event of the week or twenty issue mindblowing arc i don’t even know where the characters are living rn. i don’t know what they do in their day to day lives. i don’t know what civilians they hang out with
