I find it interesting how Lalo and Gus are the only ones who treat Hector normally instead of talking down to him because of his disability. Lalo speaks to him with love and respect and discusses Salamanca matters with him seriously and listens to his input which is actually really sweet of him, like you can say whatever you want about the guy but he's a damn good nephew. And Gus is like the only other person who does this but his takes the form of psychologically tormenting the man because he knows he's still the same bastard he always has been and he deserves it. They really said we can excuse drug trafficking and murder but we draw the line at ableism
