I have this love/hate relationship with Venli mostly because I can see her point of view really well. As someone who grew up with golden siblings I understand her feelings like my own. The urge to prove yourself, the belief that you know better and the whole arrogance thing is so close to my heart it’s scary

That’s why I was so angry reading her chapters, like I see what you want to achieve, I understand you, but why don’t you see how wrong it is. It was like looking in the mirror

So for me that’s the reason her character arc is one of the most impressive ones. She so flawed it hurts her to do the right thing. Like for Kaladin it’s second nature to protect, to be the noble hero (I love him and his growth too). And for Venli it’s constant battle against her own personality and this is impressive

So in conclusion I love her, hope nothing bad is going to happen in the last five days of Wind and truth. My girl deserves to be better and fix her mess

• Elantris

• Era 2 of mistborn

• Tress of the emerald sea

• Dawnshard

• Reread of first four Stormlight books (skipping the interludes)

• Copious amounts of wolfstar fanfiction as a dessert

I’ve never been so productive while being so unproductive it’s scary

Damn I Love (capital L) the Stormlight books but I just can’t muster myself to read WAT as fast as I would like. The stakes are so high my avoidant ass is afraid of every chapter and what it might mean to the whole state of Cosmere

I’m so tired of this I wish I could just download the knowledge to my brain
