The first song is Goob experiencing love for the first time (maybe- who knows) and not being able to contain such a big emotion, so it basically just. Pours out of him onto Mugman. Like the song says! He's being all gooey n mushy and an overall mess, but it's all genuine love for Mugman. Overflowing, genuine love.

Mugman canNOT afford to fall in love. From his occupation, to protecting his brother AND the b-bros, there's just no room for romance!! And yet, he's still falling for Goob! His mushy love seemingly getting through to his fairytale romance loving heart. N before ya know it he's doing things for Goob like helping him carry stuff. Because Mugs is a gentleman dammit.

But, Mugs has been in love before. And with his line of work and lifestyle - and current mission - he knows he'll only end up hurting Goob and himself.

"My darling Mugman, would you do me the honor of letting me take you out on a date tonight?" *he's kneeling and holding Mugman's hand btw*

Mugman would not know what to do at first with any of this. Sprout may or may not be his first relationship (I don't see him trying to do anything when working for the Devil because that's just more weaknesses the Devil would exploit, and he already had his brother. He wouldn't put it past his Boss to make him choose between Cuphead or his partner.) but either way he wouldn't have dated someone like Sprout. Someone who looks at him like hes more than just a killer, more than just.... Him. Sprout looks at him like he always imagined someone would look at him when he was younger and reading all his romance books. Like he was wanted, like no one else mattered, like he was something worth looking at. It leaves him so flustered.

So when they start dating Mugman doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know how to handle the first time Sprout kisses him, holding his face and kissing slow but deeply, like he was trying to memorize the feeling. Nor the fact that Sprout is now looking more than he did before, always with this spark in his eyes that gets Mugman blushing and his brother teasing that he always thought Mugman would have been the simp in a relationship, leave it to him to find someone worse. Plus Sprout is always touching one way or another, leaning against him, hooking their ankles together if they are seated across from each other, draping himself on Mugs if he happens to be sitting. He doesn't hate it. Not at all, but touch so freely given from someone other than his brother is something that he needs to get used to and Sprout uses that as an excuse to be clingy. Not that he needs an excuse with Mugs, but it makes Sprout feel better since that was always something his previous partners complained about.

When Sprout drags Mugs into the closet because he just needs him so bad, Mugs is steaming from embarrassment. Sprout would be kissing him, sliding his hands into his shirt with a desperation that takes Mugs breath away. Sprout feeling Mugs hands clinging to his shoulders as he just lets him do as he pleases would have him pressing firmly against him, mouthing at his neck.

"W-wait." Sprout would stop everything at once. No hesitation with anything except if he should let go or not (he really really doesn't want to.). Mugs is so red he almost matches Sprout and he is looking anywhere but him.

"Do you want me to stop?" Sprout asks, concern and anxiety starting to kick in because he doesn't want his partner uncomfortable.

"No! No, it's just... Um... I've...I've never-" Sprout almost gets distracted by him starting to bubble.

"Never?"

"I've never done... This before. Can, I mean, could we..." Mugman is having just such a difficult time but Sprout is staring with his mouth slightly parted, awe in his eyes.

"You mean...?"

"...sex..." Mugman can't look him in the eyes when he says it. That takes Sprout's breath away.

"Let me take care of you," Sprout begs with a desperation Mugman was NOT expecting, "Please, please, let me make you feel good."

"...okay." When he agrees Sprout is back to kissing him, running his hands across his body, but while it was still desperate it was also with a reverence. The touches were slow with such gentil firmness to it that Mugs eyes fluttered. It felt amazing. Sprout spent time on his neck, licking and nipping. He teased with adding a bit of pressure but not biting. This wasn't the time for something like that, not yet. He wants everyone to know this man is his, but that can be later, right now he needed to show Mugman how he felt.

"Sprout?" Mugman whimpered when he pulled away.

"Shh, let me do this." Sprout slowly sliding down till he was kneeling. He would start where his hands had pushed up the shirt, lips gracing the skin first before running his tongue lightly over it. Each touch would be so careful, like Mugman would break if he went any rougher. He would kiss near his hips, feeling Mugman tremble. Once he felt like he had spent enough time there, and regretting he hadn't pulled Mugman into a bedroom where he could worship him fully, Sprout would run his hands along Mug's inner thighs before pulling his pants down. He would ignore the most immediate area to give his thighs the same treatment he gave his stomach. All the while Mugman is making the prettiest noises that Sprout could listen to all day. Tiny whimpers and muffled gasps of his name. He had grabbed onto Sprout's leaves with one hand while trying to use the other to muffle his noises. He probably would cry if something interrupted them right now. He would be so wound up that Sprout's lips touching him would be enough to make him come. Sprout probably would have been expecting it, lips still on the head and hands still roaming as Mugman fell apart above him. He wouldn't think anything of swallowing, but for Mugman that image would be burned into his memories as Sprout licked his lips to get anything that might have slipped free, thumbs rubbing circles into his skin. Sprout probably wouldn't even register that he hadn't come yet. He would just feel so satisfied that Mugman was leaning against the wall, spent and looking so pretty. Sprout would stand and start fixing Mugman back up, a happy hum escaping him. Mugman's hands would stop him.

"What about you?"

"Hm? Oh! I can take care of that later." He reassured. Mugman would bite his lip and look at him nervously.

"C.... Can I... See?"

"Yes." It's embarrassing for Sprout how fast he agreed but Mugman asked, and he can't say no when he does. So he steps back just enough to undo his pants and pull himself free. Mugman's wide eyes watching as Sprout strokes himself. It takes just the hesitant brush of Mugman's fingers against him to make him finish, panting as Mugman looks at the mess on his hand with a curious glint. The arousal that shoots through Sprout when Mugman carefully licks his fingers almost makes him fall to his knees again right there. Instead he kisses Mugman harsh afterwards.

"Please, please, please come to my room."

"...after lunch." Mugman promises, "We still haven't eaten and I'm hungry." Sprout groans a little, but he's right, and he wants to feed Mugman and... Oh... Now there's a thought. Something to bring up later.

"Okay." Still, it takes another 10 minutes for them to leave the closet and it doesn't keep Sprout from kissing Mugman whenever he gets the chance or to keep his hands to himself.

Now it probably would take Mugman an embarrassingly long time to realize that Sprout would do... Probably anything he asked. Like they have been together for a few weeks and Mugman finally had enough and asks Sprout to stop teasing and just bite him already which he does so quickly that Mugman knows he had been holding back. Something he doesn't get because he had started biting Sprout a couple weeks prior during a particularly enthusiastic make out session. It's the only bite Sprout gives him, tongue soothing the ache that Mugman finds he doesn't enjoy quite as much as he thought he would. When Sprout moves to continue licking, but also adding light sucking kisses Mugman finds he enjoys that much more.

"Keep doing that." He'd gasp, and Sprout would happily suck and lick his neck. He would create a suction then trail the tip of his tongue or he would nibble before sucking harshly. Mugman would be squirming, wrapping his legs around Sprout to hold him in place so he could grind against him, his hands leaving scratch marks against Sprout's back. Sprout would try to move lower but Mugman would say stop in just the right tone that Sprout would freeze, letting Mugman grind against him till he came. When he relaxed enough to let go Sprout would move down to pull his pants fully off, licking and sucking at the mess he left behind, leaving red marks behind. He felt good seeing his marks around Mugman's neck and thighs. It felt even better when he caught sight of the marks Mugman left behind.

"Sprout. Come here." Mugman demanded. Sprout went back, planning on cleaning Mugman up but instead got pulled down and forced on his back with Mugman straddling him. Slowly Mugman traced his hands up Sprout's arms until he had his hands. He would guide them to the bed post and make him hold them.

"Don't let go." Is all he would say before he would take lead for the first time. Sprout wouldnt be able to do anything but what he had been told as Mugman explored him at his leisure. That's not to say Mugman never touched Sprout, but it was more in a desperate clinging than the careful exploration he was doing now.

"...Keep your eyes on me." Mugman spoke, making Sprout realize he had closed them at some point. He whimpered as Mugman traced his pec with his tongue, teasingly biting before really digging his teeth in. Sprout thrust his hips but couldn't get far with Mugman's weight on him. Mugman continued like that, leaving bite marks and slightly digging his nails into Sprout all while Sprout held onto the bed and kept his eyes on him.

"Stay still." Mugman would mutter the words against his navel as he practically made out with the spot. It took all fo Sprout's will to do so, but he would manage. He was whimpering when Mugman pulled his pants off. It was also the first time Mugman hesitated since he started bossing Sprout around.

"You don't have-" Mugman took the tip of Sprout into his mouth and Sprout had to think of Vee to keep himself from coming the sight. Mugman didn't take him far but he did swirl his tongue around, tracing patterns with the tip before pressing the flat side against him and sucking. Carefully he would take more in, not bobbing his head like Sprout would. He wouldn't want to get too lost and accidentally trigger his gag reflex. Not that he thought Sprout would mind that. He paused as he hummed at the thought, earning a whine from Sprout. Making up his mind Mugman caught the bright desperate green eyes watching him then took him fully in. Sprout shouted as Mugman choked, throat spasming around him. He was shaking so hard as he forced himself not to move, to not stop watching as Mugman had to close his eyes, tears slipping free.

"Mugs." His voice cracked. Mugman struggled to open his eyes so he could blink away the tears. Slowly, so absolutely slowly he pulled back, making sure to let his teeth teasingly drag against the sensitive skin and he sucked just enough that when he pulled off there was a popping noise.

"You're doing so good for me." He said in awe, lips wet. He sat back and watched Sprout struggle for a few moments before leaning back over.

"You know you can come when you want to, right?" He asked just as he took Sprout most of the way into his mouth and sucked hard. That was it for Sprout. He came so hard he almost blacked out and when he could gather his thoughts Mugman was finished cleaning him and was curled around him.

"That was more than okay..Definitely need a conversation if you want to do something more intense than that, but that was..." Sprout moaned then kissed him again. Mugman laughed as he pulled away.

"I can't help you drive me crazy." Mugman pulled Sprout into a hug, resting his head on the other.

"...So is the me bossing you around a kink thing or...?"

"I mean, you bossing me around was fun, but really I just like making you happy."

"Oh Celestials, I can't believe I just- I mean! Yes! Yeah I do, but holy- this- I had something planned." Sprout muttered, hiding his face in Mugman's chest. Mugman couldn't help but laugh, hugging him tight.

"I have been wanting to say that to you for weeks." He admitted, "But I thought it might be... Too much." Sprout moved so he could look Mugman in the eye.

"We have been sleeping together for weeks. The others make fun of me for being around you so often. If anything I'm too much-"

"No you aren't." The steel in Mugman's voice forced Sprout to pause, "Sprout, I love you. All of you. I don't mind that you get clingy. I don't mind that you're borderline hypersexual. Heck! I don't care as much as I should that you have Cuphead slip pills into my food when you both think I'm not paying attention."

"First I did not ask him to do anything! I was telling him you needed more specific vitamins and he started doing that on his own I just....didn't stop him." Sprout admitted sheepishly.

"Mmhmm." Mugman hummed amused, "If you want to drug me at least ask first."

"...Is that something you'd want to try?"

"Oh, no, you aren't changing the topic." Mugman scolded, poking Sprout in a ticklish area. The two tussled for a bit before Mugman had Sprout pinned.

"Alright, let me up. You're the one who said we were going to be late if we didn't-"

"If you can love me despite everything why is it hard to believe I love you too?" Mugman asked as he carefully cupped Sprout's face.

"I... Can we please talk about this later?"

"Do you promise we will?" Sprout sighed and nodded, trying to look away. Mugman just followed, kissing him then said once more.

"I love you, Sprout Seedly."

"I love you too, Scyphus Kettle."

"Oh Celestials, did Cuphead tell you that?" Mugman hid his face this time, his head steaming. Sprout laughed at him.

"It's cute."

"It's embarrassing."

"More embarrassing than your nickname?"

"Everyone with half a brain knows that it's a nickname." He protested.

"You could always tell Boris Cuphead's real name." Sprout pointed out with a grin.

"I am going to."

"Great, now Mr. Kettle we really need to get ready or someone is going to burst in here because no one knows privacy around here."

"Yeah." Reluctantly Mugman got up and he took a moment to watch Sprout get up and stretch. He blushed at the scratch marks he left, but he couldn't help his smile either. A pounding on the door forced him to look away.

"YOU BETTER BE DECENT IN THERE BECAUSE IM COMING IN!"

"YOU BETTER NOT BECAUSE WE DEFINITELY ARENT!" Sprout shouted back as whoever of the Garden crew was at the door.

"THEN HURRY UP!"

Oh, Sprout would be So surprised at Tallulah's confidence. Not that he's put off by it, quite the opposite actually! He's actually quite happy to see Mugman's confident side. Hmmm happy might not be the right word....

Aroused. He's quite aroused to see Mugman's confident side.

With how Tallulah smirks at him like she knows how weak she makes him, how dominate she is, how she knows just how much pressure she needs to add when she steps on him, how she's just kind enough to have clean boots on for Sprout to lick - all of it just makes Sprout crazy!
