"I think it's time we had a lunch break! We've been moving boxes all day!!!"

Goob set down a box as he looked over at Cuphead laying on the floor, leaning against a pile of boxes. "I guess we should take a break, huh?" Mugman then walked in the room carrying three boxes stacked on top of each other, threatening to fall any second. "But we're so close to finishing!!" The top box tilted over and started to fall as goob snatched it and pulled it towards him. "You gotta be more careful, muggy!" "Don't call him that." "And, don't you think we deserve a break," with one hand Goob grabbed the boxes Mugman was still holding and set them to the ground, and with the other he grabbed the Mug by the waist. "Please?" Goob now holding mugman flush to his chest asked with a face similar to that of a puppy dog. As Mugmans face turned a bright blue he said, "I-I um I guess a break is fine." "Y'all are disgusting!! Can ya warn a guy before you start neckin' next to mah comic books!!" Cuphead gestures both of his arms towards a box on the floor labeled, as cuphead stated, "Cupz Comx". (be reminded that Cuphead still can't spell) "WE WERENT NECKIN' YA DAMN PALOOKA!"

Entering the kitchen, all chatter stops. Taking the closest seats, Cuphead drags out a chair and sits, Mugman joins him sitting slightly more politely. Goob runs over to the food bar and grabs three plates, he puts food on each and runs back, setting the plates in front of him, Mugman, and Cuphead. Mugman looks up and smiles at Goob. "Thank you." He notices a bit of sauce on Goobs face and licks his finger and reaches. "Oh, you got a smudge-" "Goob you messy guy!" Scraps, napkin in hand, wipes the sauce off of his face. "You gotta be careful! Plus you know it's one plate at a time. Full grown toons can grab their own plates." The back end of that sentence had a bit of venom. "What the hell is her deal?" Cuphead whispers to Mugman. "That's his older sister." Cupheads mouth made a "O" shape as he leaned back into his seat. "GOOB!" Someone yelled from the entryway of the kitchen. Then the toon runs and jumps into Goobs arms, "YOU BIG LUG!! You Reel-y had me worrying with how long you were gone!" "Finn it was just a couple hours!!" Fin then jumped off a looked at the seats next to Goob. "You swimming with a school today?" Finn pointed to the seats and held his hand to his mouth towards Scraps, "Shrimpos gonna have a fish (fit) about this." He giggled and walked to a nearby open seat.

"So, uh. Scraps is it?" Mugman asks, reaching a hand out. "Yup, the one and only! Your my brother's new plaything, right?" She asked with a smirk taking his hand with her tail and shaking it. "Scraps! Don't say it like that!!" Meanwhile Mugs is a mess, face as blue as his nose as he is just frozen. As more toons start to enter the once calm kitchen a shrimp looking one started stomping over. "HEY!" Mugman slowly started to turn his head, "YOUR IN MY SEAT! I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TAKE MY SPOT!" Shrimpo them grabbed the back of the chair and pulled it until the chair nearly fell. Goob grabbed the shrimp and the chair. "That's it guys!" Everyone attention was suddenly on Goob and his new friends. "First off, these are my friends, and I won't let you be mean to them!" He lets go of the shrimp as he gently sets Mugmans chair back to its place and he rests an arm around the mugs shoulders. "SECOND OFF, This guy is Mugman! Not a plaything, not a boyfriend! Their name is Mugman! Yes, I do like to hold their hand and yes! We do cuddle but he is a toon first and my friend second! And third off!" He sits down and grabs a fork, "IM HUNGRY!" Mugman looked in awe as he never was stood up like that by friends. And held Goobs and as he started to eat. "So your not dating?" Cuphead looked at them confused. "Cuphead I told this like ten million times!" "I dont date! How should I know!? Y'all just give eachoher googly eyes and blush like the teens from your showtoons" Mugman once again was a shade of blue from head to toe.

Mugs would be suspicious at first because he doesn't really know Sprout, but he does start softening because Sprout keeps giving him treats and he catches on that no, these weren't extras, Sprout made them for him . It's like in those cheesey romance books he used to read where one person gifts their lover something to show they are thinking of them/just because. He starts to feel like a teenager again, back when he still believes he could have a happy ending. That makes him freak out and after a talk with Cuphead (You idiot! Yes you deserve this! Go let that fruit sweep you off your feet.) he goes to Cosmo because he wants to make something special without asking Sprout. Cosmo takes advantage because his dear friend has been PINNING, so he walks Mugman through how to make Sprout's favorite pie.

Sprout losing all air when Mugman comes up with a boyish grin and his favorite pie. He doesn't say anything, just takes the pie, sets it to the side and kisses Mugman who DEFINITELY wasn't expecting it.

WAIT!!!! MUGMAN NOT KNOWING SPROUT WAS FLIRTING! He goes to Cosmo after Sprout has given him a treat for the 5th time in two weeks and wants to do something nice in thanks and that's when Cosmo takes advantage because he KNOWS Sprout was trying to flirt with this guy, so he figured he'd help give Sprout the motivation to confess. He helps Mug's make a pie to 'say thanks' and tells him just to give it to Sprout when he heads to bed tonight because some BS about Sprout being shy. Mugman has no reason not to listen to Cosmo so he does as he suggested. He is very nervous when Sprout just stares at him and the pie. Sprout just took the pie and walked away, setting it on his desk carefully. Mugs starts fidgeting with his fingers because Sprout still didn't say anything as he walked back. His shout when Sprout yanks him forward is cut off by his kiss.

"Y-You like me?" Sprout just looking at him confused

"I thought you figured it out."

"Figured what ou-... Wait, were the treats your way of flirting?'

"Duh?? Wait, you didn't know? You gave me a pie."

"As thanks!"

"Oh Celestials. Im-"

"I do like you though!" Mugman blurted. The two stare at each other for a bit of time.

"So... Want to come in and make out?"

"Please."
