it really is annoying as hell how someone will talk about how poor people can't avoid ethically dubious products because of how being poor works and then someone with a two story house in the suburbs will take that to mean they can order harry potter books through a drone delivery from amazon and if you criticize that you're a bigot

it’s such a basic part of the reality of disabled people as a whole but it’s STILL so hard to get ppl to understand that some people will simply die without 24/7 care. their care is not for comfort, it’s not for fun, it’s literally a matter of life and death. “if their care was taken away i’m sure they’d learn to suck it up like the rest of us!” – something ive heard time and time again. no they wouldn’t, they would die. they HAVE died. they continue to die as cuts are made to welfare and health. why is this so impossible for people to grasp.

something about nancy being the absolute happiest when shes looking at robin all of season five becayse she’s so sick of everyone else and robin believes her and trusts her and cares about nancy as just plain nancy more than anyone else while robin looks her absolute most miserable when nancy tries to sacrifice herself, not when vickie is in danger, not even when steve nearly dies, but when nancy says she’s going to sacrifice herself becayse robin believes in her and knows she’ll do whatever it takes to protect the rest of them
