*It’s a TV show but I make the rules around here, I can break them.
"Maybe we end up loving people we hate because we dislike them too much.”
I will go ahead and boldly talk about love in the first blog post I will right in years. I’m never brave enough to share lengthy posts in social media where I know people but tumblr isn’t a thing for people in my peer group anymore (as far as i’m concerned, unless I’ve been super left out all this time).
I’ve been the worst this past month at being in love, being a lover, and in being a roommate and best friend. I let my emotions get the best of me when I find something (big or small) to get annoyed about.
"Maybe we end up loving people we hate because we dislike them too much”--I can’t remember what film I got this line from or rather, this revised line from. I have no idea how close I got to what they said in the film but I remember this line getting the best of me. I hate so many things (big and small) about my partner and I wonder why I fell for her. I am truly troubled if I should take it as a good sign. Do I love her so much that I still love her despite everything I hate about her or am I just unknowingly and selfishly compensating for the hate I feel so that I don’t feel bothered by the feeling?
Does that make sense? I hope it does and I hope we’ll be okay.
apparently this is a thing in Japan too, and it gets translated as “Mundane Halloween.” There are so photos online and they’re all so good?????
“Person going to work on a windy day"
“Woman who’s having her bang cut but the hairdresser is nowhere to be found"
"Zookeeper in charge of the pandas"
Here are two more:
"Not pregnant lady when someone yield seat to her on subway"
And my favorite
"Person on thermal infrared camera"
Might share more tomorrow.
Influencers taking selfies at a gym
Starbucks barista working her ass off on Halloween but gotta keep up that smile
Person who sits on wet paint
Person who's still loading
Boyfriend carrying girlfriend's shopping bags
I love these so much

Julia & Marie Antoinette
For all the bored people, the lonely people, the non-celebrants: it’s a non-denominational winter spectacular issue of the podcast!
Julia Empey, co-host of the podcast The Royal Diaries Unlocking History, joins me for a bonus episode where we discuss Sofia Coppola’s 2006 film Marie Antoinette. We dig into Coppola’s career, the way Marie Antoinette (the movie) was misunderstood and under appreciated in its time, and talk about the sumptuous visuals that make this film a standout (did you know that Kirsten Dunst wears 52 different costumes in this film? Julia did!)
Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or to support me on Ko-fi!
You can subscribe to the podcast on Soundcloud, Apple podcasts and Spotify!
I’m 19 and I am a million and a hundred times sure I have not yet fallen in love (that kind of love, if you know what I mean).
They say
that
someday
or
someone
will come. I’m 19 and this number would continue adding up and if I’d still be here I’ll probably be the same person with the same kind of feelings and that scares me a bit.
hi, i’m 25 today and i think i was wrong. number didn’t just add up, i’ve fallen badly in love.
how does he produce full movies in three mins?? give him his oscar already
WOW someone give this man a small loan of 1 million dollars to make a movie that will kill us all
