Non-disclosure of being trans before sex doesn't get trans women murdered as if it's some sort of unavoidable natural disaster. Entitled and transphobic cis men are the vast majority of perpetrators and they murder trans women with the excuse of their non-disclosure. The blame lies solely with those who commit these acts of violence, not with victims.

The second sentence here goes vague and broad to obfuscate the horrific nature of what is actually being said. Why are products even mentioned here, alongside services? To dehumanize the trans sex workers being discussed. This is victim-blaming at its most basic level, with the addition of the objectification of trans women to finish off. The trans sex worker is framed as a thing which provokes anger instead of a person with motives and reasons for her actions who is subject to violence because of the bigotry of the abuser who harms her.

Why does this person compare the number of murders of trans women by bigots who use non-disclosure as their excuse against the number caused by radfems? To hide what motivates these bigots towards the murder of trans women in these circumstances and treat them as separate issues. Radfem rhetoric encourages violence against trans women and blames them for it. They are complicit in a system which emboldens bigots to kill trans women and especially trans women who sell sex.

Trans sex workers aren't totally protected from violence by disclosing. Often the situation becomes more dangerous after disclosing. There is no winning, nothing to be done that will offer total protection because the root issue is one of transphobia.

I wrote a master’s thesis on intentionally single people, and the number of them that said in various ways, “I didn’t know not dating people was even an option at first” was absolutely tragic. They honestly thought they had no choice and it never occurred to them that opting out was even a possibility available to them.  

People honestly believe these are life experience you are required to have AND THEY ARE NOT.
