I feel like it’s important that I point out the distinction between my serious, academic John-bashing and my for funsies John-bashing. Like I think John’s unreliability and unwillingness to compromise or communicate effectively affected Sam and Dean in different ways and that’s a very interesting thing to discuss, but sometimes it’s also just very entertaining to talk shit about John Winchester
