After years of failing to grasp the fundamentals of guitar, my musical inclinations have found home in my Irish Bouzouki

I hadn't changed its eight strings in ages as it is quite a meticulous chore

So as it's been warm these November days, I sat outside and did the work under my Cedar Tree as my witness

The grime on the fretboard was awful...

... and is that blood above the twelfth fret?

Nothing a little lemon oil couldn't help, though!

The work was done without peril

The excess wires were cut, the tailpiece was replaced, and I tuned her up to the traditional standard...

...and then down a whole step, to my own standard

I'm preparing for war

Catch me out in the woods luring men up the mountain with my droning folk music

I almost wish I was joking when I say that this is what fell out of my coat pockets as I turned them inside out-

I used to keep bones in my bed, but there was a man still attached to them, and he had to go

I took a walk through my woods in dappled sunlight this afternoon- This Song ⬇️ was on repeat and served as my vibe today- ( I hafta get it downloaded at the house before I go out into our acreage lol)

Visited Maple Trees I plan to tap this Winter

Continuing to honor the Sun today

Plan on doing some major Workings and Meditations over the Winter-- not sure how Life will look for me in the coming year-- but I hope that it will be worthwhile to share journey with all of you!
