K is taking Roommate out to Tractor supply to get feed (necessary) and look at the live chicks (Don't, Even.) I asked her if she could go the extra mile to swing by Joann's and buy me a new pair of sewing scissors. The ones I was using - I was in the middle of a project! - vanished and have not turned up again. Even by my standards of losing things, that's pretty egregious. If I had been using them just a day or two before, they definitely should have been on the big table where I cut fabric or by the sewing machine.
I could tell she really didn't want to add to her errands, but she said she would. I gave her a little extra money and told her to visit the section with the beads and jewelry fittings. As a 'delivery fee.' A new packet of beads is a reasonable little weekend treat!
IF the old scissors come to light, then I'll have two pairs. Honestly, that would probably save me a lot of time and running the stairs.
