#punk jacket

I fully repainted the jacket into 3 shades of blue and added a little spice. I also always wanted some Genitorturers merch, so country boys make do.

Actually, I most of the print was free-handed, except for letters and shapes, but if you got resources, you probably cloud manage as well with a couple more cardboard stencils than I did.

I also asked for help with drawing the people, because I used what little leftover paint was left after painting the jacket, and rather have someone with good and steady hands do things right, than waste all the paint on fixing mistakes of my shaky tendrils. I'd link her socials, but, as I understand, she would like not to be associated with such art or the likes of me :'( guess we wont collab again. Damn, I really liked both the person and the result.

For the finish I used matte clear coating, which hopefully will protect the paint from UV rays, which causes discoloration and cracking.

Anyway, I've been meaning to paint my first leather jacket blue for a long time. I've done not bad job considering the consitions and available resources (none, I just remembered I got a bunch of acrylic paint, since I moved to oils)

I've left this jacket out of my wardrobe long time ago for two reasons - it's a bit tight (I'm working on myself) and there's a big spot of damaged leather or paint, which looks like I've been ran over by a motorcycle. No dedicated solutions helped, and even made it worse, so I dropped it.

Now it looks better than ever, but the back is still kinda screwed it seems, so I think big white letter csloud district from it.

I remember meeting a guy at a concert with "MKUltra victim" on the back which I loved (If you met him too, it would make sense and be hilarious), but I wanna be original and also I belive a work of art (which this jacket is, no argument) should reflect the artist in the moment.

(this will sound bad without context, which is available in my blog) I'm thinking "Subbing against patriarchy" but not sure if it has a ring to it.

I brought it for my punk jacket so I just wanna know in case anyone questions me but I can't tell. I think it's 2 because of Murdoc's hair but Noodle kinda looks 1 to me.

I found it in Jamie Hewlett's The return art book but I am not gonna buy it for £100 just to see if it'll tell me lol
