I am in my mid-thirties and as such am too busy, stressed, and otherwise tired to engage in fandom drama. Ship and let ship! I am proship and anti-censorship. I am also anti-AI.
When I am not writing Royed fanfic, I spend my time playing minecraft, cuddling with my cats and Mr. Lumifern, and trying out new tea shops. I identify as grace and genderfluid. Any pronouns are fine, although I typically respond to "she" irl. I've got some chronic health issues going on, so I write about that a bit here and there.

i admire how much fma03 commits to it's premise, there being an extra of the anime taking place post shamballa where ed is an old man and he has multiple newspapers clippings about the WAR OR TERROR on his wall aswell a portrait with him and whats a presumed political figure or other important person is such a small detail but gives us so much insight into what kind of life he lived and what he chose to priortize after the events of the show and the movie, it's almost sweet in a way, he commited into doing the right thing for humanity till the end.

Scar comforting Al after Al’s turned into a bomb by Kimblee, reaching out to touch his shoulder and assure Al that he’s going to help; they’re going to figure something out, and then Scar does help, sacrificing his arm and the incomplete Philosopher’s Stone to save Al like Scar’s older brother did for him. Scar longing to tell his older brother that he forgives and loves him after seeing the love between Al and Ed. Scar’s last words being “brother” before he dies to complete the Philosopher’s Stone, vaporizing Archer and his troops and saving Al as epic triumphant music plays in the bg….not to be controversial, but Scar was good
The first rule of fandom is have fun. The second rule of fandom is find an enabler and become an enabler. Yes you should write that fic. What if it was even hornier? What if it was angstier? What if you wrote it just for me?
huge fan of when characters love each other and are closely bonded in an explicitly nonromantic way. however ☝️ i am very much not a huge fan of what happens when characters like this are introduced to fandom
i DO believe that a good writer can make mischaracterization work. oh there's a character who doesn't normally cry? figure it out!! disect the character. make the situation cryable for them. make that character cry ugly tears even if it goes against their very nature. YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK!!!
A great piece of advice I've seen is "Don't fixate about what the character would never do. Think about the circumstances that would drive them to do this, even if they wouldn't normally."
