Guess who got a second job at a jewelry store! This fucker!!
All seriousness though, I applied and went through the interview process for this place like 2 years ago and was told I got the job and to wait for the call for an official onboarding date. Never got the call. Decided to call them to ask. Got some vague run-around and got the gist there was SOMETHING going on with the management for the local locations of this jewelery store chain.
About a week ago got a call to come in for an interview. Went through the interview process. Did the pre-onboarding paperwork today. All completely different managers.
So Idk, what happened but my application from 2 years ago was still on file and now I have a second job 🤷
I love The Daily Show for multiple reasons, and I swear something about them even helps my depression. But every so often they will just stop running for multiple days or weeks with no or little explanation. I know they don't owe me anything but it makes me sad :/.
I want to keep writing as a very real thing I do, or hobby, but I keep getting hung up on what kind of writing to focus on. Do I journal? If so what kind of journaling? Should I write some essays or nonfiction on a topic that really interests me? Or should I make it a novel? This poem I found is awesome, maybe I should try that...
