Meet Juliette, a shy cleric!
A loud resounding cry fills the warmly lit guild hall, as the guild master has allowed for the party, and subsequent networking, to begin. A young woman stands in the corner staring at the floor. The words of her kind hearted and chaotic patron, echo in her animal like ears. āMany of my followers have taken the ājokesā too far, please Julie, you need to set the records straight!ā
His voice had been a mix of subtle pleading and worry, and even now Juliette could feel his expectations for her bearing down like heavy rain. That said, Juliette wasnāt known for her confidence, being shorter and weaker than most of her species. Her patron had even chosen her for qualities she didnāt actually think she had. She tended to think her parents, and others she knew, were disappointed in her, so she tended to stay silent. People, no matter what race, made her incredibly nervous, and she didnāt see any of her skills as a cleric as inherently strong or helpful. Her God, named Erinki, was a trickster god that wanted peace and joy for mankind, even when it meant fighting or healing in unconventional and chaotic ways. As Juliette began to look around, not having left her spot since the start of the guild party; she half wondered if she if she could really do this. Then a hand suddenly reached out to her, and as she looked toward the hand that was outstretched for her, she heard the person ask herā¦.
Yes, I know that I wrote a long starting story for the dnd character I drew! This is mainly due to the fact that I want to hopefully use her in a campaign at some point. No, there is no current future campaign in which she will be used at the moment! Currently I only have limited information on Juliette, and it goes as follows:
- Working through her shyness and view of her own worth are 2 points that I wish to work through with her as character development.
- Erinki will be her love interest if there is no interesting in game love interest for her (whether it is a npc or fellow player character)
- She has āinheritedā the large task of trying to clear Erinkiās name/negative reputation due to pervious Clericās, warlocks, and followers sullying his reputation, or misconstruing his intentions
- Erinki saved her when she was young, and over time she became a cleric to thank him for that.
I donāt have a dnd race in mind for her (suggestions or thoughts on that would be nice!), but if I canāt come up with one for her, Iāve already thought up a race called the Hippocampi. The race would be a race of hippocampus themed water nymphs, that are known for being rather strong, and tall.
With all of that said, I am willing to answer any questions, feedback, etc. one might have about her. These questions may help me further develop her as a character, and give me a generally more firm background for her. Especially since I donāt know when or if Iāll get to use her. I honestly loved redesigning her, as last time I never finished her, and the reason she was left unfinished is why she is such a shy bean! Colors used, were chosen by a random color picker, with multiply layers and layer filters helped to affect colors and make that background and lighting. And the only colors not part of the base 3, were lineart and background colors as a personal choice. Either way, Iām going to leave this description here!
