My warm + cold wardrobes are now officially solid in my new PP size. Maybe I will be my pre-pregnancy size at another time, but it's not now

For the first time in a long time, I enjoy shopping and figuring out my style. This hasn't happened since before I had Sky and it's nice to be excited about taking pride in my clothes again.

This boy is having such a rough time at the moment with his teeth. His first canine popped out yesterday and he has some back molars coming in too. 😢

Last night put him to bed @ 7, woke up HOWLING in pain @ 8:30. Gave him Motrin and put him to bed. Didn’t work. 10p rolls around and we give him Benadryl.

He slept 10:30-9:30a, my poor guy. Thank G-d he woke up riiiight before we would’ve been late to soccer / baseball. I wasn’t going to wake him up for it and I had no one to leave him with. Got to the field at 10:01 😂

And then her realizing I actually did that and backtracking and being SO NICE

Second session and the attitude is awful and I don’t feel safe… you were supposed to be kind before — remember, you work for ME and your job is to IMPROVE my mental health

I left this morning to Starbucks out of desperation and to get TF out of that house and the coffee was like hot milk

I NEVER return things — everrrr

But I literally had gone down the road and was like NOPE TURN AROUND B you spent an obscene amount for some teenager to make you hot milk

So I went back and kindly requested they make it again because I cannot drink obscenely shitty coffee today (literally the worst they’ve ever made it)

Yesterday, I was so scared they’d tell me my crowns need to be redone (they are still in great condition after 8ish years which seems insane) 🙌🏽

No cavities, and he said “I can tell you take good care of your teeth” because I told him about my HG pregnancies ruining my teeth (way more yellow than before plus a small chip from grinding teeth starting in my last trimester with A)

He was like, “you were just exaggerating!!” And I was very relieved to hear that

He told me to dip my toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide before adding toothpaste and that will bleach them 👍🏽

So I did our AirBnB July calculations v wrong when I was tired the other day and instead of losing like $800 this month we MADE money and it’s low season so I’m STOKEDDDDD

- signed sky up for cooking class + the lil sprouts farm group

- did 3 loads of laundry and put them away

- hung laundry for my mil + emptied giant humidifier in the basement

- had babysitter take babies high chair outside to hose it down

- made baby split pea & veg soup (he ate almost all of what I served)

- made Sky Mac n cheese

- took out the garbage

- ordered groceries for delivery

- swept the kitchen floors + put robot vacuum on for rest of the first floor

- made sure all dinner dishes were rinsed and in dishwasher while Kevin bathed the kids

- washed & detangled Sky’s hair

- rescheduled atlas’ 18 month shots appt

I invested $40 in this piece and we built it as a family in about 45 minutes 😂 (Sky can build furniture pretty well, my dad - a manufacturer of wood furniture- would be v proud)

She went to 2 weeks of STEM camp in Miami and it was honestly epic. I was like... it's crazy that she gets to "go" here because the museum is amazing and the location is gorgeous

Since we got to NY, she's:

gone back to her old gymnastics place for camp and loved it - i can sign her up whenever i want but she goes 1-2x per week and it's 3 hours

tuesday mornings she goes to morning soccer & baseball (no games, just working on basic skills, 30 mins each sport)

just signed her up for a program at our local farm where my in-laws have a csa membership and it's tuesdays 4-5:30p and they teach her how to be a farmer, essentially lol

i also signed her up for a cooking class in august that spans 6 hours over 2 days at the farm and it's going to be so cool -- she will pick her own produce and have a real farm to table experience!

3 days/ week she does math + reading tutoring for 30 mins with her babysitter that is studying to be a special needs teacher

When he starts getting impatient he says, “want! want!”
