We had a night out this evening. We packed up the family and made our way to Grace Presbyterian Church for the #BrettBrettXmas celebration. Getting there was...well pictures speak volumes: Image one - Pictoral representation of our trip but replace the extension cord with a steering wheel. Image two - Learned about the impact that team Brett (Wilson and Kissel) had in Tijuana Mx building houses, heard some great music and hopefully helped raise some $ for Canadian #veterans via the Calgary Foundation. Image three - Lowen and I got our requisite selfie sorted after being thoroughly fed and watered. Image four - Made a speedy exit carrying our youngest (Simone) out kicking and screaming. The Christmas miracle...the #candycane that 'ole Clause gave Lowen on our arrival and was securely stored in my pants pocket for the night made it home intact. Maybe not significant enough to warrant a Jimmy Stewart movie but you never know. Thanks to @wbrettwilson and Prairie Merchant for the invite staff and volunteers who coordinated this event and to the incredibly gracious folks who made room for the tasmanian Griswalds in thier pew in the balcony.
