i’m like a kinsey 5. i almost exclusively feel attraction and connection towards women with rare flickers of attraction towards men, and i (for a handful of reasons) don’t have any interest in acting on it when it occurs. my life is just very centred around women, always has been, and i like it that way—i prefer the company of women in my family, in my friendships, in my work, in my education, in my romantic relationships. i’m not available to men by choice. i just don’t want to be.

we don’t know each other and frankly if someone tells you who they are, you should believe them. bisexuality is a spectrum and i’m telling you as somebody that felt the need to pick a side and picked lesbianism, i ended up feeling horrible and confused when i realized i still experienced sexual attraction to men even though i do not want to be with one ever again. i’m being polite but it is straight up biphobic to tell a bisexual person to just admit they’re one or the other when they’re saying very explicitly that’s not right for them. do not do this shit again to anyone, but especially to a stranger.
