Summary:
After their home burned down, Vi's sister, Powder, went missing for twelve years. Until one day, she knocks on Vi's door… with a kid.

“I-I thought you were dead,” Vi said, bending down to keep her eyes locked on Powder’s sinking gaze.
“Pff,” Powder shrugged out of Vi’s grip, sniffling. “Don’t be so dramatic.”
“Dramatic?” Vi parroted, “I’m being dramatic? You’re a fucking cold case, Pow! I went looking for you after I was released, but I—I dunno, it was like you disappeared.” Vi huffed, running a hand through her hair. Shocked wasn’t even the beginning of it. There was no way this was real; she had to be dreaming or hallucinating or something.
“Right…” Powder mumbled, wiping at her eyes, “Well, sorry about that and all.”
