I cannot explain to you the depths at which my life would be improved if we turned morning people into second class citizens. No joke, being able to sleep on a bimodal night owl schedule makes me physically, mentally, and psychologically more capable on every level. The only problem is that our society is structured such that it is actively hostile to anyone who prefers sleeping this way. Except the 24/7 mcdonalds, which is hostile to human life by every other conceivable metric

not sure why people find this weird, both are made for the human sitting in them to be able to do so relatively comfortably for long hours. It just happens to be that ergonomics don't really change *that* much over the course of growing up.
