I love nose smushing. Someone rubbing their nose and the tip of it smushing upwards from the force, or somebody resting their hand near their face & just happening to rest it against their nose, causing it to scrunch up.

Have you ever had one of those days where you got tired of sneezing so much?
Yeah! It’s rare, but with hayfever when it persists with real strength late at night (typically mornings are worst for me)… ugh sometimes I am just so itchy, and the sneezes don’t really help with the tickle, I’m feeling wheezy with my eyes bugging me, my nose is dripping, constantly tingling….at that point my sneezes are so strong and useless it’s tiring. Especially here in the UK where shutting the windows is a last resort with no AC.
With a cold too sometimes, feeling that unwell with powerful fits is definitely tiring!!
Just being tired cos and not being able to control my nose can be hard or feeling all of my symptoms and still having rough harsh sneezes!

Like did you ever meet someone who seemed to never sneeze during the winter time, and when spring allergies came along they literally could not stop sneezing?
okay so this is basically one of my favourite scenarios, and yes I’ve seen it play out time after time. The LEAAAAAST sneeziest people reduced to a pathetic MESS in summer. How insane that an allergy can change someone’s sneezing habits to that extent?!
this is not spring /summer but one of my favourite snz memories ever, was I was working with this girl. Never sneezed. Ever.
one day we were in this room, and she didn’t sound congested, no sniffing, nothing, she out of the blue said… “there must be some wool in here”. I was so confused… until I kid you not 5 seconds later she let out the most aggressive sneeze ever!!!
She was like “yep there’s wool” and then kept sneezing.
WHAT? That’s such a niche allergy to have and then to detect it just in the air with no visible signs of being allergic?! Also when we left the room…no more sneezes ?! Like I never heard her sneeze again in my life. Craaaaaaazy (hot)

no, but there’s one or two I honestly have only seen sneeze once or twice now I think about it … 🤔
While there are those who stifle their sneezes, what would you think about those who don't necessarily "stifle" their sneezes but still make an extra effort to sneeze politely instead of just letting their sneezes out?
I find that incredibly cute and quite hot. My partner is like this, cannot stifle for the life of them but if we’re out to eat he’ll thrust the napkin right up against his nose to let out his huuuge sneeze muffled but still loud 😳. There’s not many places that’ll make em do that, so it gets me so badddd when it happens

on command!! Sometimes it feels like it helps get the sneezes out (like just now), but maybe it’s a chicken or egg situation going on

How many times a day do you usually sneeze?
This varies A LOT throughout the year. There are some days I don’t even sneeze once in the bleak mid winter 😨 really really tragic stuff I’ve actually never counted, I’ve tried a few times, but I literally always loose count at around 14 no matter if it’s from a cold or hayfever!!
Right now, in hayfever season, most days I’d say around 20… Thinking logically I’ll have a morning fit of 2-8 sneezes, then singles to triples throughout the day periodically.
I’m really cooking when I’m having multiple fits in the day on very bad hayfever 😈 then probably more…(more deets about that here).

thinking about a person whose initial snz is restrained, polite, almost matter-of-fact, but then it soon devolves into a fit of multiples that only intensify in irritation and urgency, until each subsequent snz is followed by desperate, pitchy gasps that completely ruin the “play it cool” attitude they had tried to start out with
