Come at me all you like, but I'm not going to pretend to take any high road at the death of Lindsey Graham.

When fascism came to America, Graham enthusiastically signed up and sold the world's most vulnerable down the river. He betrayed the Republic for 30 pieces of cheap gold-painted Trump merch and wiped his ass on the Constitution. I smile a small bitter smile at his passing.

If you want people to mourn your death, start by being a better person in life.

Someone on another platform asked: But shouldn't you at least offer condolences to his family...

Family? His FAMILY?

You've got to be kidding me.

Tell you what, I'll offer the very same condolences to his family for their loss that Lindsey Graham offered up to the families of those killed by ICE in the streets of America. I'll offer up the same condolences to his family that he offered to the families of those imprisoned without due process and deported to foreign prisons in nations they never came from. I offer his family the same condolences he offered to the families of all those innocents his president bombed, and continues to bomb, at his demand. I offer Lindsey Graham's family the same condolences he offered US at the death of our democracy, our liberty, and the Constitution he was sworn to protect. I'll offer him the same condolences the fascism he enthusiastically voted for, supported, funded, and refused to hold in check as required by his duty as Senator, offers me in return.

You let me know exactly how many condolences I owe and I'll pay up promptly.

Ok so roads are important infrastructure. A lot of stuff that's important happens on roads. Now, let's imagine that quadrillionaire Matt Stench has decided that the next big tech innovation is the Wide Car. It's a car that takes up six lanes despite seating only one passenger.

The Wide Car is supposed to be the future, and everyone's going to be driving Wide Cars, even though nobody who makes Wide Cars is turning a profit. Employers are offering Wide Cars as an employee benefit, and getting "nah." Some employers are going as far as demanding their employees drive Wide Cars, and the result is that people take time out of their workdays to get in the mandatory gas usage for their Wide Car before driving home in a regular car.

In spite of the fact that the Wide Car is clearly set to fail, there's an enormous push to expand to twelve-lane roads to accommodate a bunch of Wide Cars that simply will not materialize. This is not an organic response to demand, but a speculative investment that amplifies the existing issues with road development for no good reason.

this is not life-threatening, but also who wants weeks of diarrhea and a fucking parasite in them lol. if you suspect you've already had this and it's passed, i would see a doctor. you might need an antiparasitic anyway. if you're actively sick, see a doctor and they might be able to prescribe medication to help you get over it faster.

try to avoid eating raw vegetables, scrub fruit with a produce brush and rinse thoroughly with water. again, don't bother with premade greens or bagged salads. if you buy lettuce, remove the outer 2-3 layers of leaves.

This is not like e. coli where simply washing off debris will rid produce of possible infection.

If you feel you are at risk of severe illness from a bacterial infection (or just if you're really really trying to avoid shitting your brains out for a week) - AVOID RAW VEGETABLES UNLESS YOU KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM (like, your garden)

*technically you can successfully scrub cyclospora off of hard, smooth vegetables like cucumbers or squash. your risk assessment is up to you.

Let’s all remember that the man , and others like him wake up every day and decide they’re going to harm your friends , your family , innocents who have no way to defend themselves against the power they all wield . And they gladly do so to get a little more powerful than the day before
